As a past librarian, I want to love all libraries ...but I just don't LOVE this one. I wish they had a designated kids' area.. not just 3 games for 20 kids to argue over, and 3 small chairs for coloring with barely any elbow room for the tots.
I wish the librarians/library staff were friendlier. We Love Ms. Stacy ♡, and my kiddo loves her storytime with Ms. Connie ... but besides them and the one younger full-time gal at the service desk, we always leave feeling a bit "cringe" after interacting with the front desk, especially. This surprises me, as these are fully *customer service* positions...
At least this library's shortcomings have helped us venture and discover the wonderful libraries in Mason and surrounding areas. Lots of other lovely libraries less than 15 minutes away.

Beautiful historic building but outdated unfortunately. No media section ( DVD's etc) , no after school tutoring, very little pre teen / teen activities, staff in general are pretty stoic but somewhat helpful . Not our favorite library , could be better as big as Lebanon is but works ok for books.

This is a great library in the heart of Lebanon, at Broadway and Main. The historic facade shows this is their original Carnegie Library, expanded outward and downward through the years, so now there are three stories.The book collection is solid. I checked out two authors in fiction and two topics in non-fiction and found plenty of books for each. Friendly librarians abound if you need help.My favorite place was on the bottom floor: their computer lab also is their quiet space. It's heaven!! All you hear is the clicking of mice, the tapping of keys and the occasional sotto voce of a librarian helping someone. Every library should have a room like this!!The fun continues outside. To the west is the library park, with a shaded pavilion and lots of benches, chairs and tables. And yes, the library's wi-fi reaches out here!! So it's a beautiful place to sip coffee, read the paper, or fiddle on your tablet. Depending on the time of day, the traffic can be a little loud, but that's a quibble. Go and enjoy!!

A library worth going back to. A little small, didn't see too many DVDs/CDs, and there wasn't a real kids area from what I saw. The storytime room was cool, 3D printers were a nice bonus for it being a library, and the quiet area was something most libraries don't have so all these were nice to see

A Carnegie library that has grown into a multipurpose center for the small Lebanon City. Kudos for the city to figure new avenues for this small facility to have options for the public to use. Now if only they could update the website, it would a step in the future direction.

A wonderful library. I brought our kids here (3 and 6) to find a few bed time stories. I'm ashamed to admit it's been far too long since I've been to a library, but the librarian was so kind and helpful! She helped us find all of the books we wanted and even gave the kids a couple of little crafts to bring home for later. Thank you for making it such a great experience for the kids, we'll be back soon for more books!

They had a Safety Town set up in the parking lot. My daughter and I took her two boys and they had so much fun!! We'll do it again wherever they have it!! Thanks for a fun afternoon!!
