Had our cat spayed and it was an amazing experience overall! Staff are so friendly and nice. Our baby healed so fast and back to herself just hours later after getting home as if nothing even happened. 100% recommend! Thank you all so much!

EDIT! THEY GAVE MY CAT A VACCINE WITHOUT CONTACTING ME FIRST, I DECIDED TO LET IT GO BUT IT BOTHERED ME ALOT! ABOUT 3 DAYS AGO MY ONE OF MY CATS SAPNAP STARTED DROOLING WE ASSUMED CAUSE IT WASNT MUCH THAT HE WAS GETTING WATER AND IT DRIPPED DOWN NOW ITS WORSE, DID RESEARCH AND FOUND OUT ITS PROBABLY A SEVERE ALLERGIC REACTION TO THE VACCINE HES DROOLING FROM THE MOUTH AND IS LETHARGIC!! WE CAN NOT AFFORD A VET AT ALL! HE NEEVR ACTED LIKE THIS TILL NOW, WE HAVE TO HOPE AND PRAY THAT GOD WILL SAVE MY HUSBANDS CAT! THEY SHOULDVE ASKED US FIRST! I WILL NOT BE TAKING HIM IN HERE AND WONT BE COMING BACK FOR THE BOOSTER! THERE IS NO EXCUSE TO NOT CONSULT THE OWNERS FOR VACCINES! (FVRCP specifically)
I whent to take 3 of my male cats in to get fixed, one got loose i caught him but they helped me put him one of their crates, i bought a crate after that a better one for pick up, they were supper nice about it and reassured me he was just scared, only complaint i have is i had to call in at 3pm a hour before closing cause i didn't get a call to pick my cats up, but they were supper friendly about it and the doctor even helped clean that cat up for us, all three of them have been recovering well so far, its cheap to!

I took in the neighborhood cat named pumpkin! Yesterday we went to the humane society so pumpkin could get his shots and checked out! The moment I stepped in the door greeted with kindness from Nikki at the front desk to the doctor! Pumpkin was calm and I think he actually enjoyed the visit! They do a great job and put my mind at ease! The prices are more than reasonable!

I would just like to Start this off by saying I have a male cat and male dog, they mean EVERYTHING to me and I don't know what I would do without them. So taking my babies anywhere to get treatment is extremely nerve racking for me. Especially leaving them for a few hours and I'm not there. I had to take both my boys for dewormer and flea treatment. And Kelly and Toby did an amazing job. My dog tends to feed off my anxiety, so he, to others can be alot. But kelly took my hand and made me feel soo comfortable. Also Nicole at the front desk from Day one, has been the sweetest person. Willing to answer any question with a sweet heart or hun at the end of it. I want to say everyone in there has been more then amazing and I could not recommend this place more! To anyone that truly cares about animals thoes that works at knox county humane society are 1000% where they need to be! For the mamma of fur babies that mean the world to her. They will take care of them just the same. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my babies like I do ❤️💚❤️💚

I had my cat neutered here. They took very good care of him, and they were very professional even in the midst of a very busy check-in time.
