I cannot say enough about Candoren! The owners of Candoren are phenomenal to work with and they have accommodated my family and business for several events, both big and small. The work Bill and Lisa have done to bring this old house back to life is amazing. It is always a treat to visit the property.

My family enjoyed a reunion together this past July where we were able to gather, kick back, and enjoy making memories! It was so nice to prepare and share meals together inside and outside and visit the beach nearby.

We had the honor of photographing a bridal party getting ready here and the wedding reception! The many rooms were each beautiful and vintagely unique!? The venue made for amazing getting ready and reception photos! The family all got to stay here as well which made for a far more laid back enjoyable wedding day. We would love to come back and shoot weddings and events here any time!???

We attended a birthday party here and the owners were gracious and accommodating. We toured the house and learned some interesting history about the place! Many options for this venture... Rent for parties, bread and breakfast, etc. The house was purchased a few years ago and the owners continue to bring it back to life! If you have an opportunity to visit, do so!

As I sit on the sun-filled screened in porch drinking my coffee and feeling the turn of the century breeze on my face this morning, I cannot help but marvel at what has been our Candoran House experience this weekend. Host to our daughter’s wedding reception and out of town guests, the elegance, service, and thoughtfulness of our hosts has surpassed none! From dining on fine china in the gorgeous Edwardian dining room, to having a bonfire ready (complete with chairs and blankets) in time for sunset at the end of a wedding-filled day, every guest could not stop commenting on how relaxing yet regal the weekend has been! The service was fantastic and Bill and Lisa shared our joy - always offering more than was expected, and making us feel welcome at every turn. I cannot comment enough on the beauty of the ambiance and the perfection of the coziness of this magnificent place.
