A little expensive for my taste, but it's a beautiful store. Stopped in to get my yearly sunglasses and they had buy one get one 50% off, so I took advantage of that deal! The employees are all very nice. If you're willing to spend full price on clothing, I'd highly recommend this place!

I have shopped with Maurices for years (spending hundreds of dollars yearly). I purchased a pair of Capri jeans (not their cheaper line) from this location and wore the maybe 4x. They fit loosely and really liked them. Put them on today and the tore a spot about 6 inches long up alongside the back pocket. Clearly defective in the material. I didn't have my receipt or tags as I had them for a few months and discarded them after the first wash and wear. They refused to return/exchange them even when you could clearly see they were in like new condition and the material tore in a manner showing defect. Not good customer service! You've lost a customer.

Love this place for nice ladies clothing. Reasonably priced, good quality and often offer daily specials. Some clothing shrink some, but overall nice, and good selection of casual and office attire.

Can be a little on the pricey side if you're not taking advantage of deals, but there's a good selection, and it's the only game in town when it comes to strictly women's clothing.

I have to be honest, before this most recent time; I have never had anything but positive experiences with Maurices in Salem. The same two women who were always extremely helpful and polite when I was spending money there; were extremely rude and not at all helpful when I asked a question about a late fee on my credit card statement(which was paid in the store, in person and on time). I was basically told there was absolutely nothing they could do in the store and I needed to call the credit card company, which I did. I quickly learned that it was a mistake(on the stores part) and there wasn’t a late charge. Sadly, I was treated SO poorly I will never shop there again. I really wish I could add up the thousands of dollars I have spent there in clothes and gift cards over the years…just awful!
