On I95 in North Carolina this driver was driving recklessly, endangering the lives of all the motorist in bumper to bumper traffic; particularly a motorcyclist in front of him. The truck driver got so close that we thought he was going to hit and kill him several times while honking his horn at the motorcyclist, who was unable to safely merge into another lane. After witnessing this behavior for several minutes, the truck driver proceeded to cut us off. Later, we ended up in front of the driver. He proceeded to tailgate us so closely we were scared of ending up in an accident.
Instead of letting us switch lanes, he drove past us while giving us the bird and banging on his door while flashing his military ID to a car full of veterans. Avoid these trucks at all costs, your shipments are not safe with them.

Not cool to cut me off when I was doing 5 over with a load. I got over as soon as possible and you came up and pulled a ***** move with no signal. Tables turn if I had a bigger truck. Park it and go watch the Browns go to the Super Bowl. Everyone...the incident was on i-40 in Carolina. He's the one to blame.

Had one of these trucks tailgate me so close I couldn't see his front bumper in 70 mph traffic. I called the dispatch number on the back and he told me I should have gotten out of his way. He was so close I couldn't see around him in my mirrors to know if there was someone coming up on the right or left lanes. If truckers are going to complain they can't stop on a dime then they need to make sure they have stopping distance in that kind of traffic. If I would have had to brake for any reason he would have likely killed me. I have respect for these drivers because I know they operate these trucks around drivers who don't understand them, but I do try to stay out of their way and be aware of them. I cannot believe that any company would stand by a driver that would get so close to my car and then blame me when I was going the speed limit. Luckily he told me several times they have dash cameras so his boss will be able to view the way he drives.
