Such a neat place!! The lunch specials are $7.99 and include a really yummy pollo soup. I got the pork dish and it was fantastic. Love their charro beans too. I wasn't a fan of their chips... they are not traditional tortilla chips but puffy and soft...but their salsa was really great. If you are in the Ponca City area, definitely check out this restaurant at the airport. Get there early though. We went at 11:00 on a weekday and it was packed by 11:30.

Salsa good and chips ok,terrible management (owner Mercedes) food was a B rating and could have been better, one of the people in our group found a cricket in their dish,I'm sure we won't be back, also you have to pay for the puffy greasy chips,do yourself a favor and find a good Mexican restaurant in your neighborhood.

I didn't like they charge for the chips. Had to ask for everything that was supposed to come with meal. Sour cream and tortillas. Never refill water or tea glasses

House made salsa was not to spicy but very flavorful and it was partnered with unique white corn tortilla chips which produce pockets that you can load with salsa or guacamole. The guacamole was fantastic. I was told margaritas were a recent addition to the offerings. This is located at the airport and the sign said the first Saturday of the month they offer fly in breakfast from 7-10

Food was good, service was dismal. The homemade “chips” were unusual, kind of like tiny sopapillas served with salsa instead of sugar & honey. Our order of fajitas took nearly an hour to be served. If you enjoy being ignored by your server, this place is recommended.

Vary tough review, the food was great, chips and salsa are hard to compete with. Grew up here. Always liked it. Came back to visit so had to stop in. My only complaint was the service. Got one order wrong, fair mistake, ordered shrimp coctail got shrimp tacos. He fixed it for us no problem. Drinks were never refilled and we were never checked on not even once. We were there awhile. If you were fast enough you could yell at him and he mite notice you. But once you got his attention he would get your refill. The shrimp coctail came with no crackers or tostadas which is unusual but nit the end of the world. I figured if i ask him he will have one or the other. Considering the guacamole came out on top of a tostada thought that would be an easy fix. I asked him he said he has no crackers or tostadas. I have a guac covered tostadas on my table at that point. But apparently they dont exist so i was just like ohhk. Im vary passive. Tried to give him a break. They were busy but not busy enough to not ask if we needed anything the 10 times he walked by my table avoiding eye contact which was my preferred method of letting him know we needed something. I planned to wave him over, but in the in a few yells later i got his attention. Overcharged for the coctail which he still had at tacos. I let him know, he fixed it. But it just left me feeling upset and comfused. Was he seeming rude and ignoring me for a particular reason or was he just a vary strange guy who wasnt vary good at being a waiter. Idk . I still left a tip. Just strange being treated that way. Owel

You don't may or may not get a good meal when the restaurant's at the local airport, but this was pretty good. I had the barbacoa tacos and really enjoyed them. The free cup of soup that comes with your meal was moderately spicy, but good. And I really enjoyed the homemade 'puffy' chips as opposed to the hard crispy ones at most Mexican restaurants.

Stopped by and had lunch with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and fell in love with the fresh salsa & homemade chips. Service was good and it was busy. Enjoyed watching the planes fly in as we dined

What's not to love about Enrique's?! I've literally been flying from Tulsa for a decade now just to eat at Enrique's! In the last decade it was remodeled interior along with new management, but the food remained the same AMAZING quality! I have taken my friends, family, and many international flight students here and they love it! The chips are quite different, puffy, so you can fill them with salsa, and everything from the soup to enchiladas are filled with flavor. You also get the added benefit that Enrique's is located at an airfield, so you can watch airplanes takeoff and land! Fly in or drive in, either way you're in good hands at Enrique's Mexican Restaurant!

Not only will you love the food , you can see planes land and take off. Never know it could be someone famous

Great Mexican food inside the Ponca City Airport. We went there after being told by a local that Gene Simmons of Kiss loves to eat there. The fajitas and enchiladas were awesome. You have to pay for chips and salsa, but well worth it for the fresh chips. salsa good too.

Next time you stop by, ask for Carmelo, the rest of the staff is top of the line and they exceed on delivering their customer service. Great place to have breakfast, lunch or that special date with a loved one in the evening!

Amazing place for Authentic delicious food. Their vegetables taste fresh and clean. Chips are made on site. Fun fact: if you bite the corner of a chip, it turns into a scoop for the salsa.

Really good authentic Mexican food . I was surprised to find Mexican food this good in Ponca City me being from Texas and all. The chips and salsa were delicious, highly recommend them The service was great also, Kristen,my waitress was really nice and kept checking up on me.

Great quality food, and a perfect view! The food is varied and always good. Great daily lunch specials. The salsa is fresh and the puffy chips are novel. To top it all off you have the great view of air traffic from the restaurant.

Always good food, usually fast service. I have been a customer since it opened. In 1989? Kid friendly, watch planes land and take off. Remodeled and bigger than it was even a couple of years ago.

We have to plan our visits to Ponca City around the open hours of Enrique's. Love their chips!

I had been here before and it was excellent. This time not so much. The service was horrible. She never brought our salsa yet charged us for it. Then when we asked about it she said well it was free. So you pay for chips you get free salsa? So what if I just want the salsa? Do I eat it with a spoon? The queso was good. I ordered the steak and shrimp dinner with no shrimp (allergy). She didn’t offer a substitue. She acted as if we were burdening her by being there. She was a snot. Needless to say her tip was about as good as her service and attitude. If we go back we will be sure to not sit in her section. And that’s a BIG if.

Good food and a nice atmosphere, but I've never been to a Mexican restaurant which charges extra for chips and salsa, including refills. A bit pricey when paying for all the extras.

It chips for excellent and service was acceptable, the rest of the food was better than average but not outstanding.

I love going to Enrique's! It's fun to fly there and good food.

Best Mexican food around! You have to pay for chips and salsa, but they fix the chips fresh and they're worth it! Salsa isn't run of the mill either. Everything I've gotten here has been wonderful.

The chips are like nothing you have ever had but they do not come with the meal. Soup was great, great flavor too, I noticed a lot of ppl ordered. The food I had had great favoring

Average at best. Don't know what the hype is all about. Actually the only thing good was the chips..... huge disappointment. Don't bother with this "Mexican" restaurant.....its not even tex Mex. Y'all should be embarrassed.

Amazing food and amazing service! Best chips and bean dip!!! Best Mexican Food in Oklahoma!
July 2017 by Sheila Brown Branham
The food itself was pretty good. But BEWARE...chips are not included with your salsa (that was automatically brought to the table) or with the bowl of queso that we ordered. Each basket of chips cost you $3! Plus the cost of the salsa and bowl of queso! Our waiter never smiled, we had to ask for drink refills...service was lacking.

First time here. The food is good but horrible service and poor business decisions. Brought salsa to table and asked if we wanted chips. Then we find out it is $3 for it. Then we ordered queso to find out it did not come with chips either, another $3 because they are special made puff chips. Really? They are not that good and if I order salsa or queso they should come with it. No refills until we were done eating and no one asked how the food was or anything. Good food but not worth coming here.

In town for nephews birthday...and we had dinner here after being at the water park all day. I love Mexican and this definitely hit the spot. The queso was super yummy and they were out of guacamole on this night. But the salsa was stellar. I am a fan of medium salsa with full flavor and this had it! Only downside to appetizer is they bring out salsa...then ask if you want chips as there is a charge ($3) for chips. They do however have great tasting chips as they are super thick and fresh fried in kitchen. Our server Rebekah did a marvelous job. Our drinks were never empty and her service with a smile was very appreciated. She and the kitchen staff should be commended. If in the area again we definitely will stop in. I had a pork soft taco that I was super excited to eat. It was a great selection. I paired it with the Spanish rice ...the perfect combination.. don't forget the sopapillia for $1 off the dessert Menu...well worth it. Thank me later. I left the place Stuffed and satisfied!. Thank you for being awesome!

Good lunch spot on the west side of town. It's literally at the airport though which is a little odd at first, but kinda cool too. Their weekday lunches at only $7. They charge for the chips and salsa, but it's worth it because they are fresh cooked on site when you order them.
I had the Big Hot Texas burrito. It had pork, beans cheese and was smothered in a wonderful chili verde sauce with a roasted jalapeu00f1o. The meat had a bit more gristle than I'd like, but the flavor was fantastic. The bean dip appetizer was also popular at our table.
Service was good, not special or anything, but attentive and responsive enough. Probably slightly better than most places in Ponca in fact. I look forward to my BMW to visit.
