Got oil changed on Kia sportage only takes 4.2 quarts … checked dip stick when got home was way over the full mark!!! …we had to spend our evening and morning removing the excess oil from the crankcase … overfilled oil crankcases will damage your engine just as much as low oil!!!…on services performed check list they checked that they filled washer fluid , wasn’t filled !!! On vacuum carpet and check battery they checked that I declined, I didn’t!!! So on all the other things they said they checked I’m sure they didn’t!!! … I am calling Walmart for a refund!!! It’s not Walmarts fault it’s the lazy technicians who don’t care about quality care , you or your vehicle !!!

I ordered tires online through the app & they were delivered on time & true to size. I didn't know they wouldn't go to the Auto Care Center automatically & when I called they said they could have them sent over no problem, they don't automatically do that because some people order tires & take them elsewhere. If you do not have them mounted at a Walmart auto care center you can not get the road hazard service or replacement warranty because they didn't mount them, a friend told this to me when I was looking at tires online, Wal-Mart is the closest & cheapest in our area & she ordered her tires there too but didn't have them mounted there so no replacement warranty or the MUST HAVE Road hazard! SO GLAD she explained that or I would have made the same mistake! I'm on a tight budget & have to value shop on a single mom budget with 6 kids, one of which just passed away (he always took care of any automotive issues, diesel mechanic by trade) with him gone I don't have anyone to help or show me how to fix things myself, which is WHY I use Wal-Mart Automotive,Even when he was alive (yes I know how to change my own oil & a battery & terminal, check fuses, air filter & calibrate a carburetor & check air in my tires & check & replace a stater/alternator etc) but who has the time or money to do that & keep records & receipts for proof of service if needed? That's why is use walmart Automotive, convenient, 2 miles away, same friendly faces & they take good care of me. I totalled my new red convertible mustang a month ago, which is why I had to buy tires for my old mustang that my son used to drive. It had a flat & sitting on the rim, & battery completely dead. Good thing I had receipts in the glove box! Plus my sales tax exemption is on file with them, saves $$, even online purchases in the app! Sometimes I have to wait for service but I don't mind, I see every single employee working as hard & as fast as possible while checking every detail for accuracy which requires attention & time, if it is a minor thing that is an easy quick fix, they prioritize with the customers needs, even without a request, they are that good. While waiting to have my tires mounted, I guess they could tell something was going on with me, even though I'd never seen that associate & she had no idea who i was, and that car had not been serviced in my name recently, they got my tires on FAST, I was super stressed, sick, in pain, pressed for time and money both & mourning my son, he had very recently passed, and that car brought so many memories of him flooding back, i had avoided that car since he passed but I had to get it road ready FAST & they definitely did that!

I went to get a new tire and an oil change. Tried to leave my house the next morning and the new tire was flat and the oil change light was still on. I aired up the tire and looked on the receipt. It said “Oil not changed due to sludge in the filter.” I’m no car expert but can’t they just change the filter? They could’ve at the very least told me they didn’t do the oil change. So I aired the tire up and got someone else to change the oil AND FILTER! Tried to leave today and the new tire is flat again. I won’t be going back. Lesson learned.

The products you expect at Walmart are there. What was conspicuously missing was someone to help customers and conduct checkout. I had to walk to the front to check out and then walk back to automotive to exit where I had parked.

Its Walmart, so you can pretty much expect the same at most locations. I would much rather support a local auto shop.

The older women in the department are so rude I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on I don't care how low their oil prices are being snooty towards the customers is a great way to loose people coming in for service and mostly definitely in the wrong work area
