OSU botanical garden is a beautifully maintained space where kids and adults can both enjoy equally. During the spring, summer and partially fall the garden is very nicely maintained. One can see seasonal, regional and some unique collections of flowers throughout the year except for winter. There are so many workshops and events that are being organized by OSU from time to time for the locals. The concerts that are organized needs special mention. The OSU botanical garden is also a space utilized by the researcher from OSU for various projects. Overall it is a great place.

Great botanical garden! Lots of play areas and places to have picnics! A little difficult with a wheelchair but there is a good portion doable with one. A good place for all ages when the weather is good.

Lovely place to walk and learn about regional plants. Friendly staff and volunteers, and great venue for outside festivals and events. And it's free!

The gardens were so beautiful! Not only did they have nice flowers and plants, but they had vegetables growing too. They allow dogs as long as they are on leash. Perfect place to take the kids too! Really nice shaded playground. They also have chickens you can feed!

The herb & succulent sale was my first time visiting here. I'll be back to enjoy the garden along with some of the events they have like live music, yoga and educational events.

You gotta visit here. Such a beautiful and educational place. Lots of work and dedication have been put into making it what it has become over the years. There's even things for the kiddos, and maybe even the kid in you.

I can't say enough about how beautiful the garden is! This is where I took my engagement pictures so it will always hold a special place in my heart. But, I love that my kids are able to come and enjoy the garden now, especially with the addition on the tree house. I have yet to make it to a concert out there, but hope to next summer!

Absolutely gorgeous- you have to see for yourself. They’re always adding new structures, sidewalks, and holiday set ups for pictures. Plants are in season. It’s truly worth walking around! SO much work out in and it’s free

This garden is on the cutting edge of Horticulture. You will see many new plants you may not be familiar with along with trial gardens that might reveal the next popular cultivar. I personally was impressed seeing pink velvet banana growing in a very established grove surviving after last winter after a week of single digits and low of negative 10 or so! I would like to see them propagated and sold at the next plant sale! Great job with the gardens!

Best hidden gem Stillwater has to offer. Great for kids. Not only is the garden truly beautiful and a great place to take pictures, but it is so family friendly and planned out to be interactive and so much fun. Throughout the garden there are several places for children to play, including a play house, a water table with an old pump (you have to pump it a lot to get it started), and a little area cut into the trees set up as a kid hideout with a climbing tunnel, swing, and chairs for children. Other features kids love include a small koi fish pond, a sensory garden with fountains, musical instruments, and nice smelling herbs. There is even a train garden that has a working model train running certain weekends of the year. And chickens! With a little vending machine you can pay a few quarters to feed them. The new Treehouse Village is a 2 story wooden playground with a new slide as well. The garden itself is absolutely beautiful, and has many walking paths with different types of plants and landscape design to discover. I like to even go there for exercise, as there's a long path from the old south-side parking lot that loops all the way around to the northwest parking lot and is about a half a mile if you do the whole loop- I would make a few laps with the kids in the stroller then let them out to play. The staff are also so very nice and pleasant every time we see them. Once my child fell down and got a little skinned knee, and the sweet employee went and got him a popsicle to make him feel better, which was an unexpected and kind treat. And the best part: it's absolutely free. I would most definitely pay money to enjoy an attraction so well suited for children, but the gardens are free to enter.
