I had an awful experience with Felix from Howg Electrical regarding the replacement of my dryer cord. He came to my house, replaced it, but did not tape the wires correctly. As a result, my $1,900 dryer was once again non-functional after I paid him $274 for the service. This careless mistake has put my dryer, my electrical breaker, my home, my family's safety, and my pets at risk. His own employee said it was concerning, yeah no kidding!
When I reached out to Felix about the issue, he claimed it wasn’t his fault. It took me only 30 seconds to Google how to change a dryer cord, and step two was opening the access panel in the back of the dryer (which he claims he never did). Not only did I have to order a brand new dryer, but I also had to spend more money to fix the problem. Despite my attempts to contact him, Felix didn’t bother to reply.
I am baffled by his rudeness, especially considering that if my house had caught fire, my insurance would have pursued him for damages. I highly advise against hiring Howg Electrical. I can't fathom how he is still certified. I am definitely filing a written complaint against him with the ESA!
