Disappointing experience with Under Armour customer service:
On October 29th, my husband, our newborn baby, and I visited the Under Armour store to purchase clothing and shoes. Since we had a one-way flight the following day, we didn’t take the shoe boxes.
Unfortunately, on November 4th, we realized we had left the bag with our UA purchases at a nearby store (Skechers Outlet). I called the UA store and spoke with a male representative, who was also a manager. He understood our situation, agreed to allow a return even without the boxes, as the shoes were unworn and in pristine condition, and assured me that they could be resold. He suggested having someone come with a Visa card to process the refund.
On November 6th, a friend kindly came from another town to help us. However, when they arrived at the store, a different employee refused the return, stating that the unboxed shoes couldn’t be refunded. This contradicts what we were told on the phone.
Why was I given different information? If the manager on November 4th agreed to help, why couldn’t this be honored by the in-store employee? Had we not been assured that a return would be possible, we wouldn't have gone through the trouble of asking someone to help us.
I hope you’ll take this into consideration and reach out to resolve the issue. As a mother of a newborn, I already have enough stress with travel and jet lag—this situation has only added to it. I would appreciate it if my Under Armour experience could be made more positive.
