Updating my review to a one star. No self checkouts were open Sunday night, if this is even more anti theft bs, I'm done. I pay for everything I just don't want to deal with cashiers because I remember how bad dealing with them before self checkouts were and I have severe social anxiety. I was also asked what I was doing when I went back in to take a picture of the closed self checkouts. They were concerned because I walked out twice. So now they're cracking down on how many times you can walk out. As a long term customer that spends hundreds of dollars a month here, this may be the final straw. I have the money to afford their premium prices, but if I'm going to be treated like a criminal the whole time I'm in the store and self checkouts are going to be shut down to avoid the chance of possible theft, that's it, that's my limit. I'll go research some other Canadian store I can go to that have more options than Walmart and don't automatically treat me like a criminal for shopping in their store.

Dec 7th , 8pm , whoever is working self checkouts may actually want to put her phone down and do some work , no bags to use in that section, i ask her where there are and she just sits there staring at me . Then says do you want me to go get some bags? I just left, I can't deal with this level of lazy

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. From both staff and supervisor (Karen, a really Karen). Took me a couple of weeks to get back and shop there. I used to go weekly, now only if no other option. Cashier was untrained and charged my credit card multiples times, customer service told me is my fault - still not sure why (because I was shopping there?). Supervisor came and let me spechless when she started lecturing me on how to call my credit card and have the transactions cancelled. She left after a couple of minutes not before mentioning that she does not have time to waste on me.
No apologies, no empathy, no respect.
Just stupid superiority shown in all splendor!

Worst customer experience in this store. They do not treat customers equally. They target customers and ask customer out of everyone to show your bag and when refused, employee at self check out says “ i wont allow your transaction” . I contact store manager and the worst store manager will not do you anything. He will just laugh and make fun of situation and told me he wont even make them apologize for their rude and discriminative behavior.

Love the selection and how everything is clean, organized and well presented.
The premade meal selection is good and at a very reasonable price

I usually shop at this store because it is closer to my house but today was a different day. I came in 20 minutes before closing time which was 9PM and I had all I needed in the cart I came to the cashier at 8:58PM but unfortunately this rude woman by the name Lestra said I have to leave the store immediately I said ‘’ I’m I the store already and it is 2 minutes before closing time please let me have my stuff’’ she leave now and leave this cart here I’ll take care of it in unprofessional manner. I’ll never come here again in my life she was such a rude woman who doesn’t know how to respect customers
I’m very disappointed with Loblaws today after being a long time customer

I have been a customer of Loblaws for 25 years and always liked the store and the brands. The last few years though, the prices have gone up faster than other nearby groceries stores. I have a feeling I am not the only one as it is never busy. There are still good 50% off deals to be found though, but some of the food basics are cheaper at other stores. For example, Loblaws charges $15 a kg for mushrooms, while the competition charges $10. Tofu is $3.98 at Loblaws and the exact same tofu is $2.98 at the competition. The store also has become a lot quiter the last 2 years.

Its a Faraday Shield! You will be upset if trying to use telecommunications there. This is an on-going issue, its serious and they do not address it. The store's parking layout really should be experienced by owners in a live shopping trial, especially the 30 minute pick-up area. Fortunately, the Bakery and Deli are run by people who care about their jobs. The deli has an exempliary manager. The best part is gling to shop to the nearby places that are cheaper and largely sell what this place is selling. Meat prices remain too high at most Canadian shopping stores, irrespective of where you go.

Traumatizing experience. My 10 year old son was locked in the bathroom for days and employees offered no help. He had to resort to drinking toilet water and ended up malnourished and with numerous infections due to the water. And he had a very bad immune system so he unfortunately passed away 3 days after I was able to get him out.
