Currently dealing with a situation where RBC have withdrawn 8k from a friends account, for a payment I saw him pay with a bank draft weeks ago. Will you return the money, plus any fees incurred due to incompetence and basically theft? Bank's should have a higher standard of care than this. I'd love to have a manager reach out and help fix this issue promptly.

(My account is under 16)
I used to have an account there. My visa dedit was blocked due to "purchases that seemed fradulent" and I went to see what's up. The lady told me my parents (both) were on my account and that I needed an iD (mine she did not say they need to be there with me). I leave come back with ID and now they need 2 verifications. So I come back with my father and his ID to then find out that he is not one of my "parents" that is on the account and my mother is the only parent on the account.
Then that lady out of nowhere starts criticizing my choice of purchase (30 dollar car parts) and saying that I should not use my account to buy things for my dad and that he should buy his own. (It felt like i was being scolded) She spoke to me like I was an idiot. And I do understand that I'm a minor but she had no right to criticize my personal choices (and let me add they were far from obsurd).
I made the choice to remove my account and I am transferring to a new banking branch because again she had no right to critisize me for buying something for my father. They was she spoke to both of us regarding this "issues" is absurd.
The way I was treated when I came in to try to solve a problem is unacceptable. (Her scolding me and my father part not the failing to mention the whole ID situation might have been a common mistake)

I insert my card at the ATM and get cash. ATM lines are long. Not in length, there will never be more then three people. Just people who take for ever when all you want is a $20.
