Stopped to get aome pan dulce before work, somce this is the only place in bend that sells it i was thinking it had to be good. I was wrong, it was super hard even in the middle. This isnt the first time ive stopped in here to try it and its disappointed me again. I would recommend going to redmond for pan dulce.

Great selection of authentic Mexican foods. We got the adobada beef and it was quite tasty. The line to checkout was long and took quite some time, so be sure you aren't in a hurry. But staff was friendly and quality was really good.

This is the type of market I was hoping to find quickly when moving to Bend recently. It is fantastic. Everyone there knows everyone and seems to be having a good time. The products themselves reveal great deals on authentic sauces, staple food items and unusual goods.Kast's Clue: Follow the smell of freshly-baked bread and walk past that counter (save for later) and find the back of the store on the left before the butcher -- who is amazing and has cuts you don't find at a Safeway, FM, Walmart, Whole foods, etc. -- to find the Mexican spice aisles. The little plastic packets with paper labels will change how you buy spices if you haven't used them before. Cheaper than bulk at places like Walmart on certain spices, and in sizes easy to keep fresh in your house. I always grab some when I see them, and this shop has a very wide selection and they are super fresh!

The staff here are terrific. They even "put up" with me when I attempt to speak Spanish. I'm pretty rusty with the language, but I do my best when I'm around native speakers. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food and drink in Bend (Oregon), Colima Market is the spot. The parking lot is ample, the store atmosphere and vibe is festive, and the place is super well-stocked. Today Katie and I stopped by the butcher block to try something new: pork gorditas (see photo). If you don't know what they are, gorditas are thick corn tortillas that have a pocket in the middle made for stuffing with delicious fillings. In our case -- pork, refried beans, cheese, and cilantro. We also picked up some ingredients to make our own salsa verde. Katie and I are always impressed with how clean the market stays, and how friendly the crowds are throughout the aisles. After you're done shopping, grab some fun tchotchkes for the kids. It's a must. Si quieres auténtico mexicano, ¡compra aquí!

This place really reminded me of home, and I was very impressed with the seasoned carne we got here, and also the pastries were incredible. The staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely will be back.

Great selection of meat as well as other ingredients and snacks. I got the marinated Adobo to cook up at home and it was amazing. Each time I have been helped by the same Lady in the bakery/meat section and she is an absolute delight.

Horrible Staff & Owner!!! I'm beyond upset at their customer service. I always have to wait on the cashier (including the owner) to finish typing her text message or phone conversation in order for her to ring me up. They are not friendly or helpful! I've been a customer for many years (including before the store was sold). I will not return back to this store! I don't care how great their selection of Mexican products is!

Was charged over $30 for a handful of stale day-old pan dulce. They didn’t have pricing anywhere so the 12 year old girl running the register overcharged me (a white male) but when my Hispanic wife shopped here they gave her fresh bread for less than half the price. Another time I went in looking for milanesa and was told they were about to cut some in the back so I stood there and waited only to watch a man come out of the back, see me, walk back in, the lady comes back out and tells me they actually don’t have anymore. You’ll never see me or my wife there again.
