The Onpoint community credit union is located inside the Fred Meyers by the grocery side entrance. Right when you walk in, it's should be on your left. The ATM machine is also right outside the little shop.

Been banking with OnPoint for years, never had any issues but this specific branch is terrible, the tellers are like zombies and have no customer service, when I walked in they were staring at me like I was gonna rob them and the teller was very short and rude and didn’t let me cash a check that was in my name all because she couldn’t read the writing.I took it to a different OnPoint and cashed it with no problems, I can’t control other ppls penmanship, the person who wrote the check was old but you could see it was my name.

I got the basic free checking.First problem: $300 daily atm withdrawal limit. And no they won't raise it. I asked.Second problem: "Daily spending limit". First time I ran into this they said they raised my limit from $300 (which is absurd, prices aren't the same as the 1990s) to $1,400. Which I guess is better but still totally unacceptable. The daily spending limit is the amount in the account. Not some other limit imposed by the bank.Third problem: Web site doesn't work half the time. I just hit reload and login 5-10 times and eventually it logs me in, so you know that's not anything intentional.Actually there were a great number of other smaller problems; these are just the 3 big ones. These constraints do not meet my needs as a consumer. I'm having a hard time imagining the consumer that can use this account. Maybe a child's first bank account, when we don't trust them with money yet? It's been 5 weeks. Never received the checks they say were ordered the day I opened the account. I already closed this account.

The ATM here stole my card, so be careful when using it. It'll make you return during business hours to retrieve it. So if you're traveling, or it's not part of your route, you're screwed

Came in to cash out from a coin machine from another branch, the teller told me I had to go to the same branch and dismissed me. Why do you have other branches when you can only use the one?

My wife and I have a Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) at Key Bank but always heard Credit Unions offered better customer service and better products. As a result, we applied for a HELOC at OnPoint to refinance our existing Key Bank HELOC. We received subpar customer service and their appraisal process was terrible. After we applied I was told we would have someone reach out within 2 business days. After 3 business days, I hadn’t heard anything so I called. We provided all the documents requested. Then I had to follow up again days later to find out what the status was. The agent constantly spelled my name wrong, despite having an application, copy of my ID, mortgage statement, tax statement, all with my name on it. Then, they appraised the home lower than Key Bank did one year ago. The excuse was that “property values have changed in the last year.” Yes, absolutely, values have jumped significantly, not gone down. The condition of the home hasn’t changed. Ultimately, they offered us a lower line of credit then we already had through Key Bank. Their only solution was for us to pay a minimum of $750 for a full appraisal. It was a complete waste of my time.

On Sunday nov 7 I was floored by the customer service I received by a female named Miss. Ortega. As a customer service professional of 10 years I couldn't believe how rude and inconsiderate she was. Her body language behavior was completely out of line. And she got me on a good day. Because I Was having a fabulous day I checked her and walked out. But never will I ever get assistance from her again. And I tell the same to everyone I know who banks with OnPoint which is a-lot. I'm glad her eyes didn't get stuck in the back of her head. Humble yourself darling all I was trying to do was open an Account for my daughter I'm sorry if she had more money than you but you didn't have to almost lose your eyes cause of it. Miss Ortega

Onpoint has now come into Fred Meyer stores and I thought it would be a convenience, but, I had to go to the Orenco branch for the IRA services that I needed. It wasn't very complicated, but, the staff said the person with the authority was not available and they could set up an appointment for later in the day, but, I said, no, I preferred going to the branch anyway. I was easily taken care of at the Orenco branch and things are much better for this 35 + year member! Now my husband knows I was right in the first place to do my business at the local branch!
