We have had five vehicles worked on by Duane. We've had a Chevy Tahoe, Hondas, and a Kia. He has done a great job on them all. Small repairs to large repairs. He is on his A game and is a fine professional. I just do not pick any mechanic out there. Word of mouth I have found is the best. So my word, Duane is the real deal. So glad we have a business like his in the valley! Thank you Duane and American Wrencher!!

I used to do all my own work on my cars but now that I'm too old to do that anymore I needed to find someone that could take over - that I could trust. Duane Barkley is that guy! He brought my 20 year old Ford Ranger back into service and did so faster than expected. Thank you Duane, I won't hesitate to call on you again if, (more like when, lol) needed. Chris the Sharpener

The owner, Duane, was highly recommended to me by the Lithia Dodge service department when they told me my 1995 Ram 2500 plow truck was too old for them to work on. In Feb of 2024 it developed a nearly intractable electrical issue involving it's fuel pump. After a week of efforts by another mechanic, Duane agreed to make a house call because we had heavy snow bearing down on us at high elevation and within 3 hours of tracing schematics and testing he was able to isolate the issue and make repairs. I am extremely grateful to Duane and beyond impressed with his skills. On top of his talents as a mechanic, he is a very compassionate, quality kind man.

Finally an HONEST car repair shop. Duane went above and beyond like no other mechanic ever has. The work done wasn't easy but Duane's knowledge and skills are unsurpassable, making a difficult job lasting and well under other quotes. Thank you Duane (and team). I won't go to any other garage, ever!

Needed sway bar links replaced. AMG did the job in a flash and completed a total car inspection that was sent to my phone (pictures included). Great guys and great service.

Great honest mechanic!Duane was welcoming and transparent, didn't over charge me when he could have due to my ignorance of automobiles.
