I guess the cutter was tired.The bacon was not cut very well either and I am not sure about well cured the bacon is. Seems to go bad super fast. Wondering if your bacon is bad, is not what you want to doing at breakfast.I would not use them again.

We SO happy to have been referred to Southern Oregon Fine Meats. The number one thing I can say is-- you get all of your meat. The three places we used before, also in S. Oregon, shorted us every time. Also known as stealing. And a lot. It's one of those things that's hard to figure out until you actually get all your meat and see the difference. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and the beef is always trimmed perfectly and packed well. Tip: Getting excellent beef is the first step, and we're happy to use Diamond Bar Beef, grass fed and finished, also out of S. Oregon.

We recently had 2 pigs and a goat processed here. The goat was an older animal, so we decided to do something fun with the meat. We had him made into jerky, pepperoni sticks and salami. While it was expensive, it was well worth it. The brown sugar jerky is out of this world--best jerky I've ever had. I'm not a fan of pepperoni and salami, so I haven't been eating those, but my daughter and husband are enjoying them immensely, too. We are already talking about when we can have another goat processed. The pork has been really good, too. We did some kielbasa, brats and breakfast links out of the extra half we ended up with, when a sale fell through. Really enjoying that, and the bacon and regular breakfast sausage are excellent, too.

So impressed with the service from the 1st phone call to when Robert loaded the meat into my car. The whole team was friendly and helpful. They are obviously very knowledgeable and I can't wait to go back.

Just picked up my elk yesterday. this was the first time I have EVER used southern oregon fine meats and let me tell you, they just gained a life long customer! They had my meat done when they said they would, the quality is perfect, very little waste. I had one front shoulder made into jerky and now I'm regretting that decision. I should have done both front shoulders! The jerky is amazing! Not to mention how nice Sharon is! She even gave me their after hours number incase I need to bring a deer or bear in on Sunday. Great service and the price was way under what I thought it would be. Can't say enough good things about good people like these!

I cannot begin to explain what a great experience it was dealing with Southern Oregon Fine Meats. I recently took in a bear to be processed and they had in done in TWO WEEKS!!! Unheard of and the jerky and pepperoni are absolutely delicious. Often times I've taken wild game into butchers and they treat me like they are doing me some sort of favor allowing me to pay them and be their customer. Instead, Southern Oregon Fine Meats treated me very well and they were appreciative of my business. It was truly a great experience.

I have used Southern Oregon Fine Meats for years to butcher our beef. I know I'm getting my meat back and service has always been top notch. I would highly recommend SOFM to anyone looking to have their meat processed.

I usually process my own game meat, but when it comes to bear.. not a clue. I harvested my first bear this season. I cut all fat, tendons, and membrane out. The staff was awesome to work with and they told me how to preserve the meat until they had time(which was 2 1/2 weeks if that. Not a big deal at ALL with their help). I did jalapeño/cheddar summer sausage. Italian sausage. Brown sugar jerky. IT IS ALL AMAZING!!! I’m a bear meat lover now! Best place in southern Oregon to have your meat processed! Thank you SOFM!

We purchase a beef every year and the Rancher arranges for the cut and wrap. we have had this arrangement for several years now. This is my first experience with Southern Oregon Fine Meats. Very happy. Excellent job. GREAT service. The % return on the gross weight dropped off was outstanding. The beef was custom cut to order and the finished product was perfect. Wrapping is well done. highly recommend these guys.
