We have brought our car to Wally & Sons multiple times for widely ranging issues and they have always been forthright and fair to deal with. They don't play games or try to upsell you. When you come to them with a problem, they are focused on addressing that problem and what you tell them you are trying to accomplish, that's it. They have never tried to convince us to do something that wasn't necessary or try to drag anything out for their own financial gain. I have found them to be truly honest mechanics in a world of anything but. We had an issue with our car that required it to be monitored basically indefinitely until the problem could be reproduced, which is a customer's worst nightmare. They took our unique circumstances into account, never charging us for time it wasn't actively being worked on. When it still wasn't happening after weeks with them, they let us take the car home with an open ticket until it did so that we could still live our lives and have use of it until then, trusting us to come back to them. When I felt that communication had been lacking in terms of getting updates and one of our fobs seemed to have been damaged in their care, I talked to Steven, and it's not an exaggeration to say he really helped restore some of my faith in humanity. He took my concerns seriously and made us feel like the issues we had weren't just important to us, but mattered to him. Because of the time we spent without a car and the difficulties we had had in communication, Steven personally talked to the owners about our case and they agreed to let our repairs be covered, despite that what needed to be fixed technically wasn't the fuse box we had under warranty, but a pin connecting it. He also had a kit ordered to completely replace the face plate of our key fob and restore it to an even better condition than it was before we gave it to them. Every single time he made a commitment to do something and then call me, he did what he said he would do and called me when he said he would. He fixed the misaligned pin as soon as he was able and had the car ready for me that day. I left my damaged fob with him so that when the replacement kit came in, all I had to do was pick up my new one. The experience of working with him was one of the best ones I've ever had with a mechanic and only wish more customer service experiences were half as satisfactory as he made ours. I don't know what he's getting paid, but whatever it is, it should be more. Thanks to people like him, Wally & Sons have more than earned our trust and will continue to be who we take our car to for any automotive problems. They're not perfect, no company is. But they're genuinely honest, good people who care about what they do and do it well.

I purchased my 2018 Subaru Forester in 2021 from a dealer in Oregon City. It had 80k miles. It never ran well was noisy muffler sounded. After Wally&Son cared for it this week (it now has over 100k miles), it has never run as quiet or run as well. Thank you Dimitri! I won't go anywhere else. Thank you Ruben 2025 still servicing my 2018 Subaru.
