Basically if you've been to one you've been to them all. It's different from Lowes in it's more of a basic. Lowe's seems to have more decorative items (lighting, garden, etc )

They were very understaffed when we went, so loading big order had a bit of a wait, no big deal. Staff are very helpful and knowledgable.

You know what I love most about Home Depot? They always have in stock what Lowes is out of it. Their prices are usually lower as well. This Home Depot is always laid back. Not too crowded. Always someone to help if needed. So depending on what you need this Home Depot might be the best option for you.

We are at HD constantly, and I felt bad I never gave a review. We have used HD for so many things: major construction, new appliances, Christmas Decor, landscaping, small projects, buying tools, and have been in every part of it several times. Every single time the staff have been so friendly! You can usually get assistance immediately when needed. Many times if you look a little confused or unsure, they are always coming by and asking if you need anything. 100% of the time we have been greeted, saw friendly staff, and had expedient check out. Thanks all at Altoona Home Depot!

Huge shout out to Conrad!!! He was super busy today but still rekeyed 4 dead bolts for me today and was more than happy to help even though he was being pulled in 4 different directions by other employees/costumers!!! 10/10!!! Thank you Conrad!!!

Bought a GE washer from them with an extended warranty and it broke after 6 weeks . It's been a week and my washer still isn't fixed nor will they return it! Don't buy anything here !!!Edit another week has went by and again no contact from GE I've spoken to the Store Manager several times and he seems to be a nice gentleman and wants to help NOTHING! At what point do you just not replace the washer?

I bought a washer and dryer here and paid cash. The representative told me it would be delivered in 10-14 days. At day 15 I called. Home Depot stated it hadn't left the manufacturer and I may receive in 2 weeks. I explained that they failed to hold up their end of the agreement and I expected compensation for the cost of using a laundromat while I waited for their product. Home Depot stated no compensation would be made. Later that evening I received a call that they were able to re-route a unit and have delivery tomorrow. The delivery driver showed up with his dog and let him out on my property. If that wasn't enough, the machine was completely wrecked. It appears they re-routed a returned machine. The store management takes no responsibility and only offers me the same machine - now 3 week from today. Terrible service. These stores have gone down hill. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT.Update: The store just called and said they'd rather refund me the money than make right on the purchase. PEOPLE: STOP LETTING THESE LAZY, GREEDY, INEFFICIENT, INCOMPETENT CORPORATIONS KEEP SCREWING YOU. STOP BUYING FROM HOME DEPOT AND OTHER LARGE CORPS. GO LOCAL.

Greatest store ever! This Home Depot is kept spotless. It is the only home improvement store that I haven't felt like I needed a shower when I leave. Things are not covered with dust or look like they've been sitting on shelves since last century. I liken it to browsing in a fine department store. Also, they have some harder to find items. We travel an hour to this location and Home Depot is always tops on our list. We have an upcoming home project and have chosen some items that only Home Depot carries so we will be going back---with our truck this time. Also, if you think you can find any paint that beats Behr paint or stain, it ain't gonna happen. We bought their best outdoor paint this trip for one of our outbuildings in the fall. Also, I need to say that the employees are helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this store!
