Great asset to the community. Friendly and helpful always. The hours are a little rough and the website isn't the greatest, but their core competency is exemplary. An honest and human financial institution, very rare these days.

PSFCU will not cash in savings bonds bought through Penn State payroll option. Long time customer is hugely disappointed since US Treasury suggests cashing in at credit union or bank, 95% done locally.

You’re better off at a reputable bank. Credit Unions were once member friendly but certainly not here.

Business hours are terrible. Working people have a very difficult time getting to this branch. People that work there are not the friendless either. Always new faces so I never feel like a valued customer.

Love doing my banking here. Everyone is always so friendly and seems to genuinely care! That's hard to find these days! Also having a location at the Hub on campus is super convenient as I can stop in on breaks and take care of business!! Keep up the good work!!

The Penn State Federal Credit Union has poor customer service and no rewards for customer loyalty. I was a loyal member for 5 years, and thought that a credit union would have great customer service, especially compared to banks. This is not the case here. I mismanaged my checking account and had 3 small overdrafts to it in one day, all totaling about $20 in the negative. They charged me $105, $35 for each one. I asked to have it combined into one $35 fee, which I deemed to be fair. They adamantly and rudely refused. I feel like they are worse sharks than big banks. I had to move all my finances to another institution - one that I hope will be fair, have good customer service, and reward customer loyalty. I would not recommend this financial institution to treat you fairly - they want to get as many fees out of you as they can. Trust your money somewhere else.
