A leopard can't change its spots. This is just Bryn Mawr Trust with a new name. Everythng else is still the same. Even the ATMs are always out of service, like the good old days. lf you liked Bryn Mawr Trust, you'll love WSFS. lf you were expecting something better, you'll probably be disappointed

Zero stars for this Corporation. One of their employees assured me he would lift the dormant status on my account so that the funds would not be escheated to the state. I dont know if he lied on purpose or is wholly incompetent, but he did not lift the dormancy and now I have to track down the funds with the state. Not only is this a case of malfeasance, but the employees I spoke with today had no phone number/email/contact information of any kind available to help me track down the money they lost. I would never entrust my money here and the fact that they have billions under their authority should be scary to anyone who wants to do any kind of banking with them. They will actively lose your money and leave you to deal with the repercussions of their inability to do their basic job demands.

I attempted to have a large amount of money transferred by wire to a bank in India for a travel agency for our upcoming trip. More than two weeks later (and two weeks after the date that the paperwork indicates the money should arrive there is no money. I have spent more than five hours in the bank asking to have a tracer put on the money, and no one can reach those in charge. I have repeatedly asked two different management individuals to call or email me to let me know what is going on but... no calls, texts, emails. We stand for service is a joke.

Horrible company, would not recommend to my worst enemy. Impossible to talk with someone over the phone aa they dont answer. Every call goes to a voicemail and if you do get a person, they have attitude. Take your business elsewhere, very unprofessional!

Ugh... do NOT get into a contract with them. I have been trying FOR MONTHS to pay off my balance with no success. So frustrating. Few businesses would turn money down, but I guess it's more important to them to get the interest. I have emailed several times with nonsense responses, and called and left messages with no call back. There is no customer service. I can't imagine what they do there all day, but I bet actual work isn't one of them. Sigh...

Bryn Mawr Trust is a stable investment company that you can buy stocks from investment fund. They've been steadily increasing their value over the last few decades. Old and traditional growth driven.

I have been a customer of Bryn Mawr Trust for a few years now and the company only disappoints. I have had a few issues with my card and whenever I call the help desk they're more confused by the issue than I am. Moreover, the customer service is slow and seems to have very little idea of how to solve any problem laid before them. This being said, the consultants and bankers are friendly, genuine people who are good at their jobs and take the time to answer any and every question. Unfortunately, the unbearably slow customer service and mid 2000s-esque website undermine the satisfactory employees. I am making the switch to a different bank, and I don't suggest opening an account with Bryn Mawr Trust anytime soon.

I was a customer for over 20 years. I recently had an occurrence of fraud on my account. BMT did little to investigate the situation. They blamed the customer instead of the fraudulent company I was dealing with. Autopayments were cancelled and should not have been taken from my account. The company came up with excuse after excuse, coincidently, so did BMT. BMT did nothing to protect their customer. Do not deal with this bank, they don't have your back. They are an old money bank, they will not look after you. Their staff is snotty and rude, why would anyone sign up for this behavior anyway!! Snotty, rude, and terrible customer service, that is all you can look forward to.

BMT used to be a great bank but now they should not be trusted. I have encountered a distressing number of bookkeeping problems created by BMT such as placing extra leins against my primary residence (which they can't clear up until I locate county documents; yes, I had to drive to Norristown and spend a few hours clicking through the county website); requiring me to get a home appraisal (~$500) but then ignoring the appraisal and instead using numbers they find in Zillow, etc. They will also sell your loan to a third party without telling you. They are untrustworthy and disorganized. Avoid BMT.

As a small business you are grateful to get a loan or loans through banks to fund the purchase of equipment. We were able to do so with Bryn Mawr but the way they handle their loans is ridiculous. The bank employee we had to deal with was not a pleasure to do business with and the unnecessary late charges because of payments not being received to our account on time ( USPS ) was the cause of extra money charge to our account. I am thankful that we were able to get a loan from another bank to payoff this loan so we don't have to continue to do business with Byrn Mawr. Hopefully no one else will have the same experience.

The outside architecture is classic and has the look of stability which matches the excellent in-house service. My small business is treated with the same respect as large corporations. The online service is flawless and the webpage is easy to navigate. Highly recommend.

After having received a message that a deposit of a check deposited from the app was accepted, later saw a debit in the same amount. When I called customer service they said the check number was illegible. No msg, email or anything to alert me of the issue. Had I not called would have had no idea what was going on. Seems the 1st photo of my check - after being acceptable by the app - was subsequently deemed illegible. Re-taking and depositing on the app worked the following day, with a call to the bank to ensure it was accepted.

A Bad Bank. Inept Leadership. Royal Bank Purchase saddles BMTC with a Bad Real Estate portfolio. Branch Managers have No Lending Authority. As a Former CEO of a Company, much larger than the Bank, with Considered Bank experience...........when I questioned Sailor ( a VP ) and proved her wrong............she had my Accounts closed. Leto, the CEO tells all about his support of Non-Profits. That is not true. They support ONLY the WEALTHY 'Main - Line' huge Depositors Non-Profits, and that is very Few. Put you money in a Shoe Box First. This Bank has all of the Folks nobody else wants to employ. They are underpaid and unhappy. I find the BMTC responses to each Complaint to be the same. Listening is an Art and being blind to the Mess you call a Bank, which most find Arrogant will 'never' fix its historic Stuffy Reputation.
