Jill is nice, friendly, and professional. They have caller ID so before they pick up the phone- they already know who is calling. Many times I called- no one answer, phone drop, and when someone picked up (the person who pick up has a bad attitude) No greetings and almost miserable! This person needs another set of training in customer service. You can learn from Jill. You know who you are, because you work at the YMCA for ages! Like you been working there since my daughter is 5 yrs old! And she is 20 yrs old now! It makes me giggle that this person has a bad/negative attitude on the phone every time I call. Retire if you don’t like your job!

Just went to join. One person at desk doing individual intake. Inefficient. Two teen boys came in not realizing that they can't come in until 2 on weekdays. The person at the desk spoke so rudely to them. If someone had spoken that way to my grandson, I would have a fit. Something heavy kept dropping upstairs. Weights? Construction? Not sure, but I decided this was a place that I don't want to be.

Clean and a decent functional area HOWEVER they refuse to fix the air bikes (I've been asking for months), they don't let you use dumbbells in the functional area (anyone else do devils presses or dumbbell cleans/snatches?). Just a bunch of really dumb rules. Shoes... really? Most people do deadlifts in socks because that's what's SAFE. Deadlifting in shoes is a great way to pull the old back. Yeah, I get you don't want people walking around in socks but to perform a movement in one place is perfectly reasonable.
Please fix your bikes. Some of us are limited in what cardio equipment we can use. Also, look into a new leg press and adductor/abductor machines. They don't give full range. The leg press forces sheer force on the knees that's super painful. It's pretty much unusable if you have any OA in your knees.

Update late-June 2024: They are correct, the HVAC must have been down that day. It is now a day away from summer and 95 degrees out and the gym feels fine inside today.
April 2024: The Y is as expected but it has one big design flaw. The weight/gym is on the second story and surrounded by window walls. It's now April and 77 degrees out and the sun is coming in the windows turning it into a sauna, plus 2nd story and heat rises, plus there are NO FANS installed. The windows are tinted but the sun is glaring through the windows, and the tint has nothing on the strength of that sun. It's like working out in a greenhouse. I'm dreading how hot it'll be in Summer when we are in the 90s and/or triple digits. Had to end my workout early today due to these conditions.

PLEASE build a bigger pool. There is hardly ever a lap lane open, any day, any time. Very frustrating.

Really enjoyed the egg hunt in the pool this past weekend. I always appreciate when there are events open to the public.

Fantastic layout of the new sections. Seamlessly blending of the old sections. Everything is being well kept. 24-hour access available to the fitness equipment. Family discounts and extra discounts if you get a friend to sign up. Swimming pool, basketball, fitness, and child care all wrapped up in one bow. Great location, plenty of parking, and something for everyone.

We reserved a rec swimming online. Then we went on time my kids were so excited, but we found the swimming pool busy for a different kind of swimming. The lady on charge told us not to stay. We told her that we have reservation, we found it too difficult to disappoint our kids. While negotiating, other families arrived and the same lady allowed them to swim. When my husband entered the swimming pool with my son, she called the front desk, which she ends up calling the police. The police did nothing because the was nothing to be done. Now the membership got canceled, the entire family got terminated.Unprofessional staff!Unfair! There are hidden schedules for activities, not available for all members. They do not treat people fairly! We need a lawyer..

Good gym overall. I really like using the egym but I wish there were more machines. I am also hoping you get more new ellipticals. I like the addition of the body analysis machine. However, I agree with a previous review, the restrooms outside the locker rooms, for changing small children, are usually really gross during rec swim. Also, sometimes there are too many people at rec swim, making it hard to find space to swim.
