He worked on my Lumina 6 months ago and I have had no issues. Other shops insisted on changing the door panel and painting several entire panels so their cost was much higher. He was able to repair the surfaces and match the paint perfectly. John said it would take a week and he delivered my car in 5 days. I highly recommend his shop.

If you want exceptional quality with the best parts that you can possibly get for your vehicle with bodywork, want no games, and a very straightforward person with a great personality that you can trust then this is the guy that you absolutely want to use.My mother Subaru had been hit and was covered under insurance and it came back in perfect pristine condition with no problems no issues nothing. The whole experience was perfect and if that’s what you’re looking for there’s only one place to go in my mind. call John Akers and save yourself the stress Of wishy-washy people who think they know how to do bodywork. I just can’t say enough about the quality

I spent a ton of cash on some rust repair of my truck. The day after I picked it up, guess what....rust and air bubbles pushing back thru the new paint. After getting a run around of several months, they took it back and "redid it", this time with sloppy paint work. Again, same thing... bubbling paint within days of picking it up. After a bunch of hand-wringing, Akers said they would "re-do it" again, even though the 1 yr warranty expired....due to their delays. It didn't get re-done when I asked, they were just TOO BUSY. At no point did it have a good repair done. I could not show and sell the truck with nice quarter panels, I was at the mercy of Aker's to have it corrected. So, over a year later, I sold the truck with the bubbled paint, although I spent $1200 cash to have it repaired. The work should have yielded a good looking truck that I could sell for top dollar. Instead it was a loss of $1200 I paid and a similar amount of loss on the truck sale. Pretty sloppy work, a run around and a huckster. I wouldn't go back even if it was free.
