Our entire experience from start to finish was awesome! Bill, Michael and Melissa were wonderful to work with and ensured we got exactly what we were looking for as furniture and the delivery team of Daniel, John, Jacob and Eric were beyond amazing. They were incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable and made sure we were completely happy before leaving the job. They all went above and beyond!!!

This should have been a 5 star rating, but I can’t. The packing and loading/unloading went smoothly. BUT, we ended up with a Bose sound system that worked perfectly before it was packed and loaded, and no longer works when it was unpacked. We paid for the full valuation insurance for instances just like this. I submitted the claim once we were fully unpacked (as you can only submit one claim). Our claim was denied because there was no external damage to the boxes noted. I have no idea how the boxes were loaded onto the truck, what was sitting on top of them, or how they were handled. As soon as they were opened by the company setting up our TVs the SAME DAY the truck was being unloaded (at the same time the truck was being unloaded), the workers noted that they weren’t working. THIS is exactly why you pay for the insurance. This was an $11,000+ move. I replied to the denial email with further explanation and have been completely ignored. This is not the way to get good reviews or especially to get referrals.

The movers damaged our home theater system, we placed claim after having paid for insurance, and Olympia refused to honor the claim, and tried to wiggle out of it on a technicality.
We would never use this company again, as we do not find them to be credible.

Working with Olympia Moving was truly so great. They moved me out of my apartment, took apart my couch, wrapped all my furniture, etc etc. They safely stored my belongings for the weeklong break I had between my two leases. Then, they moved me into my new apartment and set up all my furniture. My movers Edison and Carlo were incredible. They were present for both moves. They were so kind and helpful. You could tell how much experience they had. I trusted them with my belongings and was so impressed at the way they navigated the difficult hallways of my building and planned in terms of moving all my stuff out and in. Truly could not speak higher of them! Was so grateful that they were my movers. They made all the difference in lowering my stress for the moves. No damage to any of my belongings either. Jennifer, my move coordinator was communicative and responsive throughout this whole process. She was easy to reach, answered my questions, and helped me with anything I needed. Truly couldn't have asked for a better moving experience. Worth every penny!

It all comes down to planning. I took my cue from Olympia. I had everything boxed, labeled and ready to go with a clear path. While it was a local “in city” move, We only used half the time allotted. Since the planning was done, the movers were in their element, TO MOVE things! I was proud of the movers, and we worked together to get it done! Thanks Guys! 👋🏻

We received excellent service from Olympia/Wheaton. The driver, I believe his name is Rashod, out of the Washington, DC office was extremely patient with dealing with the small one way Philadelphia street and he throughly explained the moving process.. The movers arrived on time, were professional and took the stress out of our moving experience. I would highly recommend Olympia movers.

We recently used Olympia Moving Company for our move, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about them. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and incredibly hard-working.
What really blew us away was their dedication and flexibility—they showed up on Father’s Day Sunday to get us moved in, without missing a beat. The team handled everything with care, from heavy furniture to delicate items, and they worked seamlessly together the entire time. They were courteous, respectful of our home, and made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free.
I’ve had other moving experiences in the past, and this one was by far the best. I would absolutely recommend Olympia to anyone planning a move. If you’re looking for a team that’s on time, detail-oriented, and genuinely committed to doing the job right, these are your people!

Danny and the team showed up ready to go and listened intently when there were specifics that needed to be attended to during the move. We worked well together when it came to questions and the need for answers. I was happiest to see that all members of the crew communicated as needed to make the day go smoothly and respectfully.

I had to move into a new apartment and did not have a ton of stuff so it should have been a fairly straightforward job. Unfortunately, I had major damage to high value items. My 65 inch TV, which was both packed and unpacked by the movers was completely broken by Olympia. It didn’t look overtly damage from the outside, but then after the movers left, and I turned it on, it’s clear that the inside was completely cracked as pictured. When I contacted customer service, I was directed to the claims department who notified me that would only be able to receive $48 In compensation, even though this is an $800 television. When I contacted them again to tell them this is not right, all they said was that there was nothing else they can do. One of the whole reasons that you get movers is to avoid damaging very expensive, large items. Beware of their lack of accountability.

Patrick always does an amazing job coordinating my moves. The crew showed up early, were pleasant and worked quickly and efficiently. The office staff is very communicative, especially Candace. I highly recommend Olympia to my clients, family and friends.
