Darren is the first mechanic to finally repair and stabilize my jeep. Been going to the dealership and they were unable to correct the issue. Powertrain is accommodating efficient and friendly. Great service

I had my car inspected last year and Darren was amazing, he even complimented my car and how great it is! I have a Toyota Highlander but I never had car pride before, but now I do! He is very friendly and personable and left a good impression that this is a respectful and knowledgeable establishment. I needed an oil change recently and did not hesitate to call them back to schedule and they got me in within 2 days! I spoke with Fatima for scheduling and got to meet her when I picked up my car. She deserves a high five for being excellent at customer service, attentive and helpful! Often times we judge a business by the first person we interact with, and that is Fatima, she is great! I feel comfortable and safe having my car serviced at Powertrain and I will continue to trust them with my vehicle. The unsung hero's are those who service my car whom we often don't meet, so a big Shout Out to the guys who expertly perform their car magic for Havertown! My high mileage SUV was shifting roughly at low speeds. I was thinking transmission rebuild- expensive. Darren and his tech patiently looked over numerous areas to properly diagnosis potential concerns. A simple additive to the trans and new sparks plugs has the engine running like new. Shifts smoothly and increases gas mileage. He even jumped into the car with me to test drive it and demonstrate how well it was running. When my regular mechanic noticed during a routine inspection a leak in my transmission in my 23 year old Neon, I did an internet search for an honest, reputable transmission shop. My search came up with Automotive Powertrain. I was able to get an appointment today and was impressed with the courteous, professional manner I was treated. I asked Darren if I could wait for my car and he said it was going to take time to examine and determine what was wrong. He mentioned they provide free van service so I could leave my car and when service was completed, the van would pick me up at home and take me back to the stop. Jeff took me home and I waited a few hours before Darren called to say the coolant lines were leaking, the gasket needed to be replaced, and they would take it for a test drive before he would call me to say it was ready. Darren said it should be ready today and also gave me a price quote. Around 3:00PM I spoke to Darren and said if my car would be ready today, I would have to leave within the next 20 minutes to take the bus to the shop before they closed at 5:00PM. Darren said the van was leaving to pick me up. To my surprise in about 10 minutes Jeff was outside my house in my car! He wanted me to test drive back to the shop. Darren said there would be no charge if I brought my car in two weeks later to see if there were any leaks. I told Darren I was so glad I took my car to Automotive Powertrain. These people are the most honest, hard working automotive repair shop I have had the pleasure to deal with.

I've been taking our cars to Powertrain for several years. Darren and his team always do a great job; the work is done right and the prices are fair. I especially appreciate that Darren and his team go the extra mile. I recently had a situation where I needed to drive to Florida the day after New Year's. Our car needed some work before the trip and it needed a part from the dealer. On New Year's Eve afternoon, Darren worked to get the part form the dealer before they closed, got our car finished, and we were able to leave on time for our trip. That's great customer service and it's why I'll keep taking my cars there. I highly recommend Darren and his team at Powertrain.Services: Oil change

You don't have to lose sleep when you take your car Darren. They are knowledgeable, professional, fairly priced, and treat ever vehicle like it was their own.
