I have purchased appliances from this company twice and have had mixed experiences.
The first time, I had an issue with my dryer shortly after purchase. They did return to fix it, but scheduling was a challenge since they do not make appointments. Instead, we had to wait for them to contact us to let us know when they would show up.
The second time, I purchased a new set, but the process was less than ideal. The front desk staff seemed disorganized and struggled to provide clear communication. When the dryer again needed repair, it took a week of back-and-forth phone calls during which they repeatedly said, “I’ll call when I’m on my way,” but never showed up. Eventually, they arrived unannounced one evening just as I was returning home from work.
Recently, I have been trying to purchase a part for a dryer at my workplace. My initial phone inquiry was frustrating, as the person I spoke with struggled to understand my request, even after I provided the exact part number multiple times. After 10 minutes of repeating myself, I was told I would receive a call back. Two weeks passed with no follow-up. I then went to their location in person, where I was greeted with, “What do you want?” When I explained my request again, I was told I would receive a call. Over a week has passed since, and I still have not heard back.
While the appliances I purchased have been functional after initial repairs, the poor customer service and lack of communication make it difficult for me to recommend this company. As a business owner myself, I would expect someone at least a little bit friendlier. The overall experience has been frustrating and inefficient, and I have decided to look elsewhere for my future appliance needs.

Few months back I was having trouble with my washer balancing. Scherer's came out and told me that I would need a new washer soon but I tried to limp along for a bit ( washer wasn't spinning, emptying correctly.) Went to Schererers because they were so kind when they came the first time and bought a new washer. Conveniently enough, they were able to deliver the same afternoon. They service all their appliances and I can not recommend them highly enough!!

Terrible service. My mother in law who is a senior citizen bought a flat top stove WITH warranty and is still waiting for a new top for stove since early September. Excuses with every call. Still waiting for part. Here it is a week before Thanksgiving. I guess I'll have to make a trip in person myself on her behalf to get things done. Do NOT recommend.-Avis Pa.

I don't even know where to begin. My Mom had set up a day and time for them to call and make sure she was home to deliver an appliance. They called me instead, on a different day, and when I answered the phone, the woman blurted out, "ARE YOU GANA BE THERE!" I was very confused obviously. I said, "What?" The woman rudely and obviously frustrated blurted out, "SCHERER APPLIANCES, ARE YOU GANA BE HOME?!" I said I was not aware of what she was talking about and indicated that perhaps she meant to call my Mom. She then said, "Are you NUNN" (providing the wrong last name, but I obviously will not give the real one here in this public review). She did not allow me to answer her question and instead began talking to someone else, complaining, saying, "Here, you talk to her, she says she doesn't know what I am talking about."This is pretty unacceptable behavior and phone etiquette for a business. What kind of person greets someone that way? Also, the date we were supposed to get this refrigerator just kept being pushed and pushed. At one point, they finally told us it was on back order. When were they planning on letting us know this information? People can't just wait months for a fridge. You need to make them aware if it is going to take 2+ months! Let's do better. All around, bad experience. I hope the fridge is worth it.
