Extremely Disappointed – Would Not Recommend
I had a very negative experience at this tax preparation office. Despite paying a significant amount for their services, my taxes were not filed correctly and ultimately had to be redone elsewhere. I was contacted several days after my appointment with no clear explanation, and attempts to reach my preparer were unsuccessful. I was eventually told to contact Social Security myself to resolve the issue, which added unnecessary stress as the filing deadline approached.
To make matters worse, the staff was unprofessional throughout. Our preparer made an inappropriate joke regarding immigration, which was especially offensive given that we are a Hispanic couple. He also made a dismissive remark about my partner’s career path in business, which was both uncalled for and unprofessional.
In the end, a former tax preparer was able to fit us in last minute and resolved our tax issues without any problems—resulting in a refund when this office had incorrectly shown we owed money. Additionally, our local taxes had not been filed at all.
This experience was unacceptable on multiple levels, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this business.
Update: my tax preparer was able to submit my taxes with no issue, stated my taxes were never processed. I paid H&R Block for absolutely nothing but wasting my time.
Also don’t know why he requested my taxes from 2020-2023 without my consent or saying anything at all. I had to sign on a tablet so all I could see was the box to sign. I trusted this place as I believed they would be “professionals” but it was absolute trash.

$235 was supposed to be done on line spent two hours on the phone on my day off took significant time to answer online messages through out the process multiple holds my tax expert had to ask the manager questions about 1 w-2 an local returns they don't even file your local taxes you need to print your documents yourself avoid this dumpster fire at all cost 90 % sure josh did my taxes wrong

I would highly recommend the Lebanon Pennsylvania office and Katherine Morris. She is very knowledgeable courteous and always gets everything possible with accurate returns.

Overall good experience at this location. The staff are friendly and the wait time wasn't overly long. The price to file your taxes with a pro at the location is definitely too high though at $300. Thankfully my tax pro Rabia told me upfront what the cost would be and suggested I do the process from home to save a bit.

So let's start with the positive side first. I have gone to H&R block as far as I can remember and have grown almost a motherly daughter bond with Laurie even though we only saw each other once a year, it felt as though we knew each a lifetime. But she knows her stuff and I am going to be sad the day she desides to retire. But Laurie is very friendly, personable, and will not make you feel rushed. And the check in staff are always smiling and so friendly. But my only negative side is the fees they charge you are a little ridiculous and I know it's H&R blocks set fees but they a bit Cray Cray! Especially for us poor folks ?
