I'm only putting this review out there because I want to bring attention to the dealership regarding their policies.
As of August 2024, this dealership has the only CCS/Level3 electric charging station in the Meadville area. It appears to be set up with a system that takes credit cards, and bills to a third party company, which I think is EVConnect.
The dealer does not allow public access. No. Not even in an emergency. They also have two level 2 stations, one in the service dept and one under the awning of their dealership. I can totally understand and empathize with why they don't want those to be public.
The problem with electric car charging in Meadville isn't Community Chevrolet's problem, but at the same time, they alone have a solution. I saw ONE electric car on their lot when we drove around it. ONE. Obviously they, like many dealerships don't embtace new tech, and from their perspective, who can blame them? Hard to charge customers for maintenance when all a car needs is wiper fluid and new tires.
And, again, it's not their fault, but these attitudes come from the head on down. Although GM dealerships are independent contractors (so I learned after having two Bolts recalled), GM's leadership does nothing to incentivize or encourag electric adoption.
Maybe a lot of you will see this review as a plus because you like gas cars. When you are staring at the back of my car as I peel away from yours at a stoplight, or on a highway, when you are spending $500 a month on gas... Well. You have my sympathy.
Edit: in response to the dealer comment below. That's great to hear, but that attitude wasn't displayed by the service tech who told us to go away when we tried to charge there, even when I told her how desperate we were... and even offered to pay.
Advanced Energy Solutions, who is the vendor who installed your charger (I think?) has a bank of several CCS chargers at their location in Greenville. That's where I'd recommend anyone reading this look for a working charger. On our road trip I had the pleasure of using several other stations installed by them in other places, and none seemed to have a problem taking payments.

All I can say is wow. The hospitality, kindness, and professionalism I experienced here was by far the best I have ever had! The staff is very helpful and will answer and explain any questions you may have. I have to give a huge shout out and 10⭐️ review to the person who helped the most Tina Fell. Tina takes you in her office and is down to earth and the kind hearted person that has sold me a car. She was the best and will forever do business with this establishment as long as Tina will be there to sell me exactly what I am looking to purchase. Again outstanding job guys and gals. Thank you for making me feel like family and keep up the great work! Sincerely you forever loyal customer!!!

This Review is for the body shop! Don’t get your car fixed here.. They never complete the repairs . My insurance recommended the place. I have had my car repaired here twice. The first time I hit the deer and I got my car fixed they did not attach honk to the car. And also got the engine heating issue.. Second time the bolts on the vehicle tires are missing and the car is vibrating while driving and also didn’t fix the fog light. I thought giving them a second chance might help.. but never go there. Plus they mentioned it will be a 5 day repair and took more than 2 weeks still missed the perfection.

I was extremely satisfied with the service! My routine inspection and oil change were done so quickly. Jamie was so wonderful to work with. He was updating me at the beginning, middle and end of the process. He was very attentive and made sure I was satisfied with the visit. I live in Pittsburgh and only vacation in Pymatuning area. I only trust Community Chevrolet for quality service!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. My insurance gave us this place to have our car fixed after deer damage. Quoted us 1 week. Ended up being 2 weeks and some days. Ordered wrong parts and didn't order one till last minute. The last part was overnighted but the tech decided he didn't want to finish the car on Friday. Gave us the run around about finishing it. 10/10 would not recommend for fixing cars. Also had a coworker deal with the same issues. Will definitely be reporting to insurance company and BBB.
