Hospice is there when you need them, and their people are so caring!

Seriously rude staff members. Not kind at all while spending final moments with my family member. Disgusting, vile behavior on their part.

Because of the knowledgeable, professional, compassionate care at Hospice in Mt.
Joy, my husband Jack's last 12 hours were peaceful and pain free. My daughter and I will be eternally grateful for the care we all received there.

We unfortunately only needed them for five days however they were amazing. Our nurses, Tricia, Jill and Crystal were the finest. I can't say enough, Ruth and Jane...all of them awesome. Truly a Godsend for us. They treated our little lady with the utmost empathy, comfort and the best of care. God bless you all, thank you from the bottom of our hearts ?

My grandfather was a patient there this past weekend and every staff member we encountered was amazing. A special thank you to Pam— your kind demeanor was comforting and you went the extra mile each time you were in the room to assure he was comfortable (and that his hair looked like the fonz).

They are absolutely amazing. I don’t know how else to word it, other than simply amazing! Anytime I have to go inpatient, the Nurses know my WHOLE history (which is very complex and complicated). I couldn’t be more impressed! The whole staff is so nurturing, kind, caring etc!

My Uncle is currently in care at this facility and I am appalled by his care. Firstly, they charged $5000 just to get him in the door. The nursing staff has left him sitting in a pile of mess, an overfilled catheter, and hanging half out of his bed about to fall. If my family wasn’t there to help care for him in his end, who knows what worse state he would be in. This place needs to be reported to the state for unfit care. Every time my mom goes to the nurses they are at the nurses desk eating or chatting. I will never send a loved one to this center again. It’s truly a shame because I’ve had loved ones cared properly through hospice and they no longer care about the patients.

No-one wants to be In a situation where you need to use these services, it's hard to watch a loved one transitioning from this life to eternity, especially if they are suffering. Mt Joy Hospice is a BEAUTIFUL facility and Nurse Gwen, Chaplain Kevin, helper Sandra, and Dr Scott were all compassionate and caring. I felt we were in capable hands. Thank you all so much!!

Our family has had several family members at the hospice center in Mount Joy, and the facility and the care they've received has always been the best of the best!!

Hospice & Community Care was a miracle for our family. My father had an unexpected fast health decline with parkinsons. We woke up one morning needing urgent support to set up hospice care and get him help with sleeping and pain during his last days with us. Their response to come out and get him under care was amazingly fast and we had proper medication to him that same evening and a hospital bed to the house the next morning. I can't imagine what we would have done without their care. All of the staff were amazing, caring, and supportive. We had one single number to call 24 hours giving us the support network that we needed. I highly recommend them for any family needing end of life support and care for a loved one that wants to spend their final days at home.
