EXCELLENT experience from initial visit to final product. Our cedar deck required a full teardown so we asked several deck builders for quotes on a new composite deck. Gideon and Ray stopped by to take a look and, immediately, we knew they were the right people for the job. They were polite and professional and answered all our questions and were the only ones that got us comfortable with how they would work around an existing stone retaining wall. The permitting process was handled by Ray with minimal input from us.
The deck build itself was nothing short of exceptional. Ben and team showed up and worked in freezing temps and cleaned up at the end of every day. The craftsmanship exhibited by Ben and team as they worked around that stone wall, a large Columnar Beech tree in the middle of our deck, and other difficult design elements, was of a very high quality and I truly feel I got more than my money's worth.
We ran into a change order from unforeseen rotted wood beams which had to be removed and re-done with new wood and they came in UNDER budget, so they're very honest to boot. How many other companies do you know that quote extra work and come in under budget? Not many that I know of. Even our township inspector came by for final inspection and commented on the quality of the deck and how well built it was. All in all, Decks R Us was great to work with and I cannot say enough about their honesty, professionalism, and craftsmanship. I will be recommending them to everyone and anyone that asks me if I have worked with a decking company. Thank you!

I am so pleased with Decks R Us. They were very professional, hard working group of men with great workmanship and very polite. From start to end they were very respectful of my property and my opinion on what I would like my deck to look like. I would totally recommend them with no hesitation. We absolutely LOVE our new deck! First class quality and craftsmanship from start to finish. We felt so fortunate to have the installation crew of Elmer, Oscar and Ray, they are so talented and cheerful - we looked forward to seeing them each morning! The office team of Gideon, Daniel and Melvin are awesome communicators and on top of every detail throughout the process. 10 stars from start to finish...HIGHLY recommend!

From beginning to end the team was very professional, honest and extremely hard working. They tore down our old deck and installed our new deck in one day. The gentleman cleaned up after the deck was completed. We couldn't be happier with our new deck !!!

What a GREAT experience we had working with Decks R Us, they deserve 10 stars! John brought our vision to life, Ben and the team executed it to perfection, and Melvin maintained timely communication along the way. Decks R Us tore down our existing deck and removed our above ground pool. They built a beautiful new deck, built a sidewalk for us, and fixed the area where the pool was. The work ethic, quality of work, professionalism, attention to detail, and communication could not have been better. I have attached some before and after pictures, so happy we made the right choice with Decks R Us!

I cannot say enough great things about the Decks R Us team. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Everyone was so kind, such a pleasure to work with and extremely knowledgable from the quoting and designing aspect all the way to the construction and completion of the deck. And it was great that they also handled the permit process with the township so we didn’t have to worry about that! Because of their outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail, our deck turned out absolutely beautiful. I told them that my husband and I wish we could choose them for other home projects if we could! If you are considering a new deck, look no further!!

We had Decks R Us remove our old deck and build a new one.
Our experience with them has been excellent across the board. We got estimates in a timely manner, good communication on the permitting process, adjustments to details of the design as needed and most importantly, top notch quality on the installation. The crew was very easy to work with and everything was done when expected with no need to ever "chase" anyone. I highly recommend them if you're looking to do a deck project.

What a fantastic bunch of guys! They've built our deck in 2018, haven't any issues with it. After multiple quotes, and our due diligence, we've hired them again in 2024 to build a custom roof over the same deck. Meticulous attention to detail, impeccably clean, and not the smallest of corners were cut. They actually went out of their way to get a 6-inch piece of J-channel perfectly color matched, even though it was in one of the least visible locations. Excellent craftsmanship, cleanliness, friendliest of guys, and for a fair price!

The folks at Decks R Us are very nice and professional. There was clear communication between us from the beginning of our deck project to the end. Ben and his team showed up everyday ( even on the cold wet days)and gave me progress reports along the way. Our deck is beautiful! I would highly recommend them. Thank you all at Decks R Us.

Decks R Us put in a beautiful new composite deck for us in July and we are just so happy! They did a great quality job. They were great to work with from start to finish. They were always on time and cleaned up completely. The job went smoothly and would have been done sooner if not waiting for inspections by township. It looks wonderful and the most exciting thing is that I never have to paint a deck again! So very happy with our new deck.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Every aspect of dealing with this company was professional, timely, polite, friendly and completely accurate. I was stunned at how much work was accomplished in such a short period of time and it was truly a pleasure meeting and working with everyone involved.
