Some of the best service I've received from a garage. A week before our family vacation, I discovered the van we borrowed had a battery charge issue. Four days before we left, I got it into the shop. Then I missed their call with the diagnosis. When I called back a day later, they told me it was an alternator issue, $700-$800. I called the owner to figure out what to do. Another day passed. Finally, with less than 48 hours to departure with no good alternatives, we decided to do the repair ourselves. I called A.C. Auto to tell them to order the part.“I'm one step ahead of you,” Phillip told me. When I heard you were going on vacation, I ordered the part, he said. “I thought, worst case scenario for me, I have to send a part back. Worst case for you, you miss your vacation.”The alternator came in that same day and the van was up and running by that evening. They refused payment until we had driven out of state and back, but there were no issues. The bill was less than they quoted.

I took my car in for an inspection and to get a broken window installed after my car was broken into. The guys were great, got me in quickly and had everything done in a day. The rates they charged were very reasonable and everything is working great. I will absolutely be back to them and I’m lucky to have taken a chance on them. It can be stressful working with a new shop but I couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks guys!

The mechanics here are so kind and reasonable! The "check fuel cap" message kept appearing on my dashboard despite the cap looking fine, and I couldn't figure out what to do. I called and brought my car in the same day. Louis reset my computer and got rid of the error, and he didn't charge me anything despite the fact that he took time out of his day to check my car and fix the issue. This place was such a breath of fresh air. Thanks A C Auto Repairs!

The best mechanic in Philly hands down. Super friendly & neighborly, incredibly reasonably priced. I don’t live in Kensington anymore but it is well worth the trip across the city whenever I need something done to my car!

Great customer service and very kind folks. I started coming here after they saw me with a flat tire at a nearby intersection and drove over to help me fix it without any charge. They’ve always provided accurate, honest diagnosis and referred me elsewhere when there was an issue they couldn’t handle.

Would highly recommend these brothers!!!...My sound wasnt working on my system in my 2013 Ford Taurus and they told me to swing by to check to see if it might be a fuse because I didnt want to pay the 375 the Ford Dealership was trying to charge me just to run a diagnostic. I literally came 15 minutes before they closed at 6 and they popped my hood and pulled out my owner's manual to look at my fuse guide.. They pulled out fuse 29 and popped it right back in and babyyy I CRYIEDDDD..lol...I screamed "I love you guys" and they started laughing..This is a stand up family run business. Good, honest, mechanic who doesn’t take advantage of his customers. Phillip was extremely courteous and helpful. He took a good look at my car and told me exactly what I needed.
