STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS
After nearly a month and some change of attempting to work together, I came to my senses that this place does not care to communicate and work with you. Maybe it was because I had a smaller purchase request (less than 10 custom soccer jerseys), however; it was always framed as we're working on it or we'll get back your way which is very misleading. They told me this process is a 3-4 week timeline.
When working with the Director of Sales/Marketing, she originally was very kind and prompt, but after telling me she'll have a mockup of the jersey within 24 hours, this did not happen. I thought no stress as I knew that timeline was ambitious anyway. I gave it a week, then I had to call in. Upon chatting with someone else on the team, they said they'd get right back to me on the status. This dragged on another 24 hours and then I called in, leading me to speak with that same Director of Sales/Marketing. She said she put someone else on the account, but they were out on vacation, which then caused some internal confusion on who was owning my order. Again, I chalked it up as a misunderstanding and was ok with continuing to give JL a shot.
Now this is where it really got bad. Upon the Director of Sales/Marketing taking me back over, she immediately shared the mockups which led me to believe these had likely been sitting in an inbox somewhere on their end. I then flipped back my minor revision requests over the weekend (which I provided my own fully conceptualized designs) and it went silent. I followed up via email to confirm the Director of Sales/Marketing had received this vital information. Working in marking/client services myself, this is typically where someone would say, "oh the client needs more comms from me." This sadly did not happen and it took a week before I decided I'd just call them once more. Nobody answered the first day so I left a voicemail. The second day, I called and the Director of Sales/Marketing texted me, saying she would call me right back. I told her I had a client call, but would be free in about 30 minutes through the rest of the day. No response. I then called later that afternoon and went right to voicemail at which point I said this isn't going to work.
At this point, I'd imagine they just gave up trying to work with me for whatever reason. Whether it's a mismanagement that has set up this Director of Sales/Marketing or she is just not good at client comms, that is TBD. Either way, this is a company that I'd deem as hardly real and certainly needs more training on how to work with clients. Faulty timelines, ghosting, and overall no lack of empathy is something most phase out of after high school and it was disappointing to see a business conduct matters in this way.
Would highly suggest being upfront and encourage some trainings with the teams to ensure this does not happen to other potential clients as it truly was a damning experience. Going with another, more professional, jersey distributor as I type.

The jerseys our team ordered were exactly like the designs. The quality is great. They kept me up to date on everything and am thankful that businesses like this exist to ensure a smooth uniform process.

I will start by saying I have been very happy with the products I HAVE received from JL. Were I writing a review based solely on the products, I would likely give them 5 stars. However, I placed an order 3 months ago. My order was part of a team order. Half of the items I ordered were customs items, the other half were off the shelf. Team members all ordered separately and we all paid separately; however, all items were to be delivered to the boathouse (9.6 miles away from JL Racing). There are more than 100 kids rowing on the youth teams from our boathouse. I was charged more than $58 for shipping for my part of the order. Assuming I had a larger order than some, $5000 seems absurd for shipping, regardless of distance. To top it off, 3 months later, my order is still incomplete. An email to the company said the rest of my order was expected to ship this week. While I had originally planned to buy some extra pieces for Christmas, this experience has left me searching for other options.

I finally found an account manager of which for the first time in 5 years I will write a positive review. Mr. Robert really showed his good side. With the depositing and withdrawal of funds, in general, there are no problems, everything comes on time, and of course, webinars which are conducted very often for beginners, traders and if you want to recover your lost funds I recommend Mr. Jackson Robert. I have been a customer of JL Racing for many years and the quality of their products has always been amazing. I have shopped in-person at their Southern California store, purchased from their online retail store, ordered from their online collections' presales, and customized team orders for bulk shipment. Each time, their customer service was amazing and everything was done seamlessly. They really show professionalism and superior knowledge in their specialized craft. If you need help with sizing or product recommendations, they are always very friendly and easy to communicate with. I see why this brand is so well-respected in rowing communities around the world and I would definitely recommend this brand to friends and family.
