i loved this store until my third Purple mattress warranty claim in as many years. Suddenly no one could be bothered (except Sarah) Everything is done online with no 800 number. By third claim (at $200 per claim) I wanted to talk to a person in customer service.. The live chat service sucks.. The only way I was able to get action was by overnight letter to the CEO. After that everything fell into place but it was like pulling teeth. lots of excuses. "He's not in today." "She's not in today" "I have other things to do" Just a bunch of bullshit trom tenured employees. There is no excuse. I recommend this store all the time but have now edited from 5 stars to 2 and im being generous.
edit. Mattress Firm took great care of me and went above and beyond to rectify. I have been recommending the store on Chestnut St Philadelphia for years and still do. Sara and Antonio have been there for years. Very accomodating!

No nonsense. Very courteous. Welcomed us to take our time trying out different mattresses, including cheaper mattresses not already set up to demo. Helped us to shop within our budget and our own experience convinced us to go for a pricier option on clearance. Very informative, volunteering what we should know and be aware of without us having to ask. Both attentive and respectful of our space, allowing us to decide amongst ourselves privately. Very happy for shopping here and excited for the new mattress.

If you have never met Sarah at Mattress Firm, I suggest you do! And while you are there, buy a mattress from her. She knows what she is doing. No heavy handed sales pitch, and she is attentive to her customers. Thank you, Sarah, for a great shopping experience!

Located on Chestnut near Rittenhouse Square, this Mattress Firm had some of the best service I could have asked for when purchasing a mattress. Antonio helped me find a queen mattress and, as others have mentioned, he was incredible. Incredibly friendly and helped me find the perfect mattress. Within two days, had it deliver and had my old mattress taken away. Was the best experience I have had purchasing a mattress, and would recommend.

Mattress Firm has a fantastic employee, her name is Sarah B. Sarah is very knowledgeable, patient, kind and friendly. She answered all of our questions about the mattresses in the store. Many items to choose from. She offered her thoughts about which mattress would work the best for us. Sarah is a perfect example of an employee who takes pride in her work and represents her employer well. Mattress Firm is very lucky to have her! Thank you Sarah.

Antonio was a cool dude. He let me know everything I needed to know with delivery service, he mentioned policies with refunds and talked me through the purchase process all the way until the end. Very informative and pleasant experience.

Dealing with the store was a pleasure, and Sarah was a wonderful sales person. Unfortunately, my experience with Mattress Firm, corporate, has not been so pleasurable. They refused to honor the 10% coupon the email to me, and the Need Help? Number on that email appears to be bogus. Nobody answers the phone. The line is just dead after you get a message saying, “This Call maybe recording.” So if you don’t mind paying full price Sarah and the Chestnut Street store are wonderful places; if you’re looking to redeem an online offer, forget it.
