This morning, I logged into my mobile banking app to see that my debit card had somehow been compromised and all of the money in my checking account was withdrawn from a random ATM in Shadyside.
I called the branch I usually go to, and was told that they had received multiple calls this morning and to go to Waterworks or McIntyre for another branch to print a new card and submit a claim.
When I arrived there were 5 people in front of me.. It took the teller an insane amount of time to handle this line. It took over an hour for me to get to the teller, for her to send me to the banker so that she could “get through the line”
Had I also not waited in the line like everyone else for the whole hour? Why do they not have to wait for me, as I waited for the people in front of me?
Also, right before I made it to the front of the line, I saw the banker see someone at the back of the line (who I’m guessing was some kind of normal customer) and take them directly into her office! So I had to wait for the banker after waiting an hour in the line, because she pulled someone else from the back of the line and they got to be seen before me. It was incredibly frustrating.
I will say - they did replace my card today. But, this whole experience was pretty garbage.
I try to be generous/kind when considering employees in any customer service position, but it is hard for me to sympathize in this situation because I used to work for a Citizens branch and understand how they operate. Very disappointing.

Awful service that I've ever had. Young lady with some overweight at cash desk was very rude and answered my questions like are you done, go away. It is your job helping and answering question, if you're tired just find another job. Citizens doesn't care about service and customers. I can't understand how such employee works in such places.
Never again.

ATM ate my card. An older lady who appeared to be the manager walked to the front door and said they weren't open yet and wouldn't help with my card, she just walked away to her office and shut the door on me and my 3 year old daughter. Great service.

I made the mistake of opening a business account here, it I could have been more disappointed with just how frustrating my every interaction has been with this bank, which ranges from major technical error to a complete disregard for helping me process my business transactions cause of faulty or restricted policies.Stay away!

Skinny short haired woman refused to deposit my cash into my acct. So I went to First Commonwealth and deposited it there with no problem. Then....I also went next door and opened a checking at PNC. So win win win. Also First Commonwealth and PNC are open later. So thank you! You can stay in your comfy chair. I wont bother you again by putting money into your bank.

Opened an account with a promo code for a bonus. Now being told that it was for online only; bonus denied. Horrible customer service / marketing, and will never do business with again. Citizens is DEAD to me!
