Its my first time here in *** and my agency recommended this bank (First National Bank of PA). I can say I had a good experience from them especially the person who assisted me *******************************. She is so welcoming and enthusiastic!

You can't say anything good about a bank that keeps you on hold for almost an hour and makes the process of making a loan payment over the phone drawn out and painful. The assistant manager of my local branch is really nice, and the tellers I've dealt with in person have all been courteous and quick. The in person banking experience is fine as is, if not the best of the three banks I do business with, but don't even bother dialing it in. I wish I could give their over the phone banking a zero. That's how terrible it is. I'm convinced they deliberately put people on phones who aren't trained on techniques for conflict resolution or methods for resolving issues with a customer upset by shortcomings they caused. This is one of only three times I ever got to the point of cussing out a phone rep.

When I bought my home a few years ago, the agent recommended FNB of PA, so I used them. After the loan closed, I found that they did not have a way for me to make payments on my mortgage online. I had to mail checks. That is my first complaint. My second complaint came when I refinanced and paid off the loan. I was concerned because I was being asked to provide a large escrow amount for the new loan when I already had one with FNB of PA and it was almost time to pay Personal Property taxes. I was told not to worry, that I would get a refund from FNB when the loan was paid off. That is not what happened. FNB took $5,000 of escrow funds and applied it to the principal without my telling me lowering the payoff amount. When I called inquiring about my refund, they told me that their policy had changed in September and that they were doing that for all of their loans. I asked if they notified me of their policy change and they said no. You might say that I didn't lose any money in the deal, however I had planned on using those funds for a remodel we are working on and if I had known I would not get the funds, I would have made different choices when I refinanced. I would give zero stars for FNB, but apparently the least I can give is 1 star.

Lousy loan service. Treated a long time customer like they did not matter. Bank at one time valued customers, but now not so much.

They are the worst bank ever. They make a mistake on your account & charge you hundreds of dollars in fees each time. You call into their customer service, and they take down your complaint, but no one ever calls you back, refunds your money, or does anything to fix problem. They rob their customers & seem to be okay with doing so. Bank anywhere but here.

What a terrible bank! They don't offer auto-pay on their loans. When you get locked out of your account for no reason, there isn't an option to reset your password without calling. Then when you call, they want your account number. Well, guess, what...if you can't log into your account, you don't have your account number! Then you can't talk to anyone so you have to ask for customer service with a loan officer which takes forever. If you don't have to use the bank, dont!
