the pharmacy is so disorganized and rude. There are a few very kind gentlemen that work there, otherwise it’s a terrible experience every month I need to utilize their services. Unfortunately this location is the closest to where I live so I put up with it. Today, I go to pick up a prescription that is of course not ready, met with so much attitude about me requesting for the end of the day today. I stated that I had called the pharmacy about 10 times a day for the last 3 days with no answer to request the script be filled. The pharm tech snaps at me and says “obviously we’re really busy and it’s just me and her (referencing the pharmacist) as you can see” sure, I get it. However, people need medication. She told me she could have it ready in 10-15 minutes and I needed to wait around for it. 3 days, almost 30 phone calls, that’s not much of an excuse. I don’t think I’ve ever left a negative review of a business in my life, but long story short, if you can avoid this location, do so at all costs.

Pharmacy is horrible here. Go somewhere else. Refused to fill my prescription because I didn’t have insurance while in between jobs. Told me no pharmacy will do it because of the new federal regulations. Had it filled by CVS the next day without insurance.

Unfortunately, the Rite Aid I used to go to closed and I am now forced to go back to this terrible Rite Aid location. The drive-through has been closed for God knows how long to staffing issues. Trying to ever get somebody on the phone is always the longest possible process. And then they refused to give me my prescription today because I didn’t have my drivers license on me despite having another state issue photo ID. I have never been carded for a prescription in my life. They are claiming it’s a new policy of theirs, however, the technician was not able to provide me with the policy, just claimed that it is their policy.

Kinda felt judged getting my Adderall prescription, not gonna lie. Shouldn’t have to feel that way getting medication I need for what can be a serious medical condition.

Let’s hope you never have to get ahold of the Banksville Road Rite Aid pharmacy by phone because they will not answer!
They are clearly understaffed and overworked and it baffles me that they won’t hire more pharmacists, especially during the cold and flu season.
I shop there because it’s close to home but will be switching pharmacies in the very near future.
In addition, the employees are not the friendliest. One man in particular, never says hello, either upon entering the store or at the checkout and won’t even say thank you after my purchase- he truly looks miserable & needs to work on his customer service skills or find a job that’s not interacting with people.

Pharmacy is awful. They asked if I wanted my prescriptions filled automatically, I said no. Turns out they signed me up for them anyway. Fast forward I go to pick up my prescriptions and there is one that I did not request to be refilled there. They say no problem they will put it back. Fast forward to the next time I go to get my prescription refilled, I cannot because the pharmacy shows they no longer I have any more refills. So I called my doctor to get a refill. The doctor writes back that they cannot order any more refills as I still have existing refills at the pharmacy. I then try to call the pharmacy, multiple times over a two day period with no callback and no answer. I come down to talk to them and they then inform me after much confusion that they don’t have my prescription in stock at all and I will now need to wait till Monday for them to order it . This is a life sustaining medication. They know this, but really don’t care. I will be leaving this pharmacy.

The pharmacy will never answer their phone for whatever reason and I can't describe how infuriating that is. Plus, their drinks are weak. The rest of the store is the usual.

Used this place for more than ten years, has always been great except for the last year or so. Can’t get anyone in pharmacy on the phone at any time of day, on any day of the week. The last two months (if not longer) I’ve had to wait until they are closed and then leave a refill request or question on their answering machine. I can’t even get anyone on the phone so that I can transfer my rx to another pharmacy. I’m only even complaining on Google reviews because there’s no way to contact anyone at the store to make a complaint.

This was our family's go-to pharmacy for nearly 10 years after moving to the South Hills area and one we could count on, nonetheless. Our experience for the better part of this year has been horrible, and we'll be switching to another pharmacy soon. You can't reach anyone over the phone without calling dozens of times, if not more than that. We've had wrong prescriptions filled, prescriptions filled days late, etc. If you finally reach someone over the phone, they'll tell you to come into the store if you have a question, but that doesn't work either. Our family is currently dealing with COVID, so my brother-in-law tried to pick up some prescriptions for us earlier this week. The pharmacy was so short-staffed the pharmacist refused to talk to anyone, because he was the only one working and doing the job of probably 5 people. Prescriptions that should have been filled weren't filled. I don't blame the employees for any of this, but I certainly blame the corporation for poor management. The owner doesn't need to respond to this. You're wasting your time, and I will waste no more of my time with this business.
