About the restaurant: The Capital Grille, a national chain, is known for consistently delivering a quality dining experience. The overall concept generates a comfortable environment: mahogany, leather, an American eagle and a statue representing Lady Justice; original art centered on portraits of local notables; a lively bar/lounge; and nicely appointed private rooms.Food & Drinks: Well-executed dishes distinguish the menu, such as the tuna tartare with avocado, served with both mango sauce and Sriracha, a sweet and spicy combination; a very tasty lobster and crab cake; and the caramelized cheesy French onion soup for starters. Continue with premium beef, dry-aged on-site; seafood in various preparations; and such sides as Parmesan truffle fries and lobster mac 'n' cheese. Desserts range from the cheesecake or the must-have flourless chocolate espresso cake. Wine plays quite a part at The Capital Grille's experience. The wine list features more than 350 selections. Some 3,000 bottles are visible in the floor-to-ceiling wine cellars. Also offered on-site are wine lockers, available by annual lease.
