I always take my car to Auto Repair by Mikes and always have a great experience. This past week I had an exceptional experience that proves why I am a loyal customer. My car began having issues on Saturday and I was unable to drive it more than a short distance. I drove to Mike’s without an appointment, and although they’re booked for weeks with happy customers, they looked at my car in just a couple days and fixed the problem (for much cheaper than I anticipated). They didn’t have to fit my car in, but they went above & beyond and helped get my car back quickly.

Once again, another fantastic experience with this shop! I brought my 2011 Kia Rio in; almost two years ago, a chain shop had told me my front driver side wheel needed work and it was a steep cost for a car with 133k miles. I brought it to Mike's and they said it was still fine to drive as-is. August 2023, went to Mike's for an oil change and asked them to check the wheel - still safe, just that it would get noisier as time went by. March 2024, went in for an oil change and to let them know the noise was getting loud and I was feeling vibration on turns exactly as they'd predicted.
Had the wheel bearing replaced at a lower cost than the chain shop had quoted, and Mike's let me know my oil condition and level were both perfectly fine and I wouldn't need to change it until I hit the mileage noted from the last change, which I am only halfway to at this point.
No unnecessary work and cost added, and as always, extremely friendly folks on the phone and when I come in.
The repair did indeed stop the vibration and noise. The Rio lives on!

Fairly new to the area and I needed some basic maintenance performed. State Inspection, full synthetic oil change and tire rotation which was included in the oil change. I loved that you could book online and they send you a text message reminder before your appointment and the day of. Prices are reasonable and a bargain compared to the dealer. Thanks guys, you will see us again soon!

After going to another shop and being told my car needed a multi thousand dollar job, I took my car down to Mikes despite it being a 40 minute drive from my house. There were plenty of opportunities to up sell and rack up the cost on a diagnostic job like this, but this shop never did that, and the repair was a smaller fix that was 1/4 of the price that another place told me. They were very honest and straightforward, and had great communication throughout the whole job. I wouldn't hesitate to take my cars here again.Service: Auto engine diagnostic
