“Rented a high-roof cargo van to help my son move from Philly to Pittsburgh. All of the staff were very helpful, from picking up the van to returning it. “Over the years I have used many storage facilities in various areas. The East Penn Self Storage in Center Valley has been the best! The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. They really know how to treat customers like family. They were as nice on the way out as on the way in. The units themselves are clean, dry, and well maintained. The electronic security gate never gave me a problem. Opened the first time, every time.I will be relocating soon, and nowhere near this part of the state, but that is the only reason I left.”
“The ratchet mechanisms for wheel tie-downs are difficult to use at best. In this case, the right (starboard) ratchet was worn or bent such that, when straightening the device and lifting the release triggers, the cam that holds the mechanism free for release would fail to stay in place and cause the release to repeatedly fail. These ratchets require more frequent inspection/maintenance/replacement.”
