I have been trying for 3 days to get a prescription from this pharmacy. They were supposed to be getting all of Rite aid's prescriptions. Now she tells me it's not coming until the 28th of July. I was unable to even talk to a live person until I push the button for the doctor's. I will get the prescription I want filled there once and then I'll transfer it to Walmart. The service is very poor and the automated line said they would call you back within an hour. I never received a call back yesterday.

I had a terrible experience with the Pharmacy staff getting my prescription correct. The technician was not very knowledgeable and conveyed the wrong information to me and to the pharmacist (stating the wrong prescription name etc) which confused the problem even more. The technician did not have any suggestions on how to help me so I offered to call my doctor's office for clarification and I stepped out of line to do so. I was on the line with my doctors office trying to sort it out and she made no effort to help me even though I signaled to her that I had the doctor's office on hold for her. She ignored me so I politely went back to the end of the line (another 10-15 minute wait) It would have been much more effecient if the technician would have just spoken to the doctors office while I had her on the phone, but she said she was unable to speak to her and the doctor's office had to call in herself..... then why did she agree to have me call the doctors office and not instruct me to have the doctor's office call in the first place. The doctor's office called the pharmacist to clarify the situation and it still became a confused mess when it was my turn to be waited on after I thought the situation was corrected. I had to call the doctor's office again. In short, I was there for 58 minutes trying to get a prescription that was called in yesterday by my doctor's office. There was no personal customer service whatsoever, I just felt like I had to fix the situation myself. If it wasn't for GoodRx, I would not come to this pharmacist. My preferred pharmacy staff has great customer service, and they would have called my doctor's office personally and worked the confusion out among themselves without putting me in the middle. So after it got worked out, I still have to return the next day to pick it up.

I called to have a script transferred from Walmart to CVS. I spoke to somebody on the phone and They said they would do it. Nothing happened, waited a few days and it still didn’t transfer so I did it on the CVS app, Nothing transferred! finally called one more time and asked to have them, again, verbally transfer from Walmart to CVS, that I’ve called once before and also I’d done it on the app and it still didn’t transfer..It still wasn’t filled. I finally got it transferred and then they try to run it through an old insurance, But didn’t tell me that. They didn’t use my updated insurance so I almost paid a lot of money out-of-pocket because they didn’t follow the new insurance that I’ve given them the last time I’d filled a new script a month ago..directly through them (me sign this wasn’t a transfer). This place is a train wreck and we left them years ago for this reason! Walmart won’t fill my 90 days scripts so I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO USE THIS PLACE. Frustrating

Worst pharmacy. Out of stock on medication and HORRIBLE customer service. Save time and go to Walmart

By far the worst pharmacy. Slow, rude and obviously don’t know what they are doing!

CVS is the worst pharmacy ever. Closes at 7. When you arrive 5 min before closing, not realizing they close at 7, and they refuse to fill your script. Tell that to my 8 year old who has a horrible ear infection. It literally takes less than 5 min to fill. I've never once had a good experience with this pharmacy, or any CVS for that matter.

Excellent customer service. Went in, found what I was looking for, paid for it, and left. In and out!

This CVS is consistently understaffed, out of stock of most prescriptions, and never answers the phone or can answer for availability of said prescriptions. This location is a complete disaster and not run well, I feel so bad for the people working there.

This pharmacy is the very definition of insanity. Every time my doctor sends in a prescription I receive a text saying the medication is out of stock, to wait two to three business days to hear back from them. You never hear back from them. This is because the medication is actually not out of stock. Your prescription is just sitting in purgatory with nothing being done with it. Meanwhile you are suffering and need a life saving medication. The issue is because their inventory system on the computer got "messed up" (exact words from an employee) so all medication is showing zero availability and your prescription is automatically sent to purgatory forever to wait for a shipment that is not arriving because it's not actually out of stock. The pharmacist who told me this said they would have to manually count and re-enter every medication to correct the inventory numbers and they don't have the time or employees to do this. So...all the prescriptions just go to purgatory and no one does anything. Hmmm. Guess that cuts down on the work load.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The pharmacy here is atrocious. The service is slow and the employees are rude. Time to switch to a different pharmacy with competent employees.

The CVS at 606 south main St in Shrewsbury sucks . They are always closed and I'm crippled and I need my meds . They need works that actually work . I'm on MS meds and they get a lot of money to fill these meds . This is the worst drug store in York county. And when they decide to be open the drive through is normally close and as a crippled person I can't get my meds because I can't walk . This store shouldn't even be a drug store it should just close up for good . The works are useless. What in the hell is going on with this pharmacy it's always closed and they can't get my medicine right or my insurance right. And the pharmacist has hung up on me several times he’s very ignorant
