We had the best adoption experience!! This is such a great place to rescue animals from. The owner is wonderful and very knowledgeable about the dogs she provides care for. She is very upfront with everyone and honest!! We loved being able to adopt our forever family dog and confidence we chose the correct dog for our family! Thank you again!!

Adopted our puppies from here and board them very often. They treat our dogs like their own and we feel very comfortable with how much our dogs LOVE going there to spend the weekend. Can not recommend enough!

Adopted a beautiful miniature 8 month old poodle on Mothers day weekend, he is the most sweetest, smartest healthiest addition to our family, our experience was great, the lady and her son were so informative we got to spend time with our pup, but didn't need too ,soon as I walked in he choose me and it was love at first pet, can not recommend shpr enough. . Adopt don't shop!

I highly recommend SHPR. They responded almost immediately to my request for more information and to my application for Stanley. They requested that I ask my vet to release my dog's records to them and that weekend I brought Stanley home.They were honest in their description of Stanley and very fair in the amount of their adoption fees (while so many other rescues seem to be charging pet store pricing). I will definitely return to SHPR for future rescues. I am so glad to have little Stanley as part of our family and so is my 13 year old Puggle, Rocky!
