I love this store! I moved to SC in 1995 and bought a used Dyson from them (that is still running very well!).
In August of 2023 I purchased a cordless Miele vacuum from them, that I love. I brought it in yesterday because when I was emptying the cup a rubber casket came off and I couldn't figure out where it went. Bob Frye (owner) kindly helped replace it and when I asked about replacing the filter, he showed me how to remove it and clean it, something I had never done! Needless to say, it was filthy and he took the time to clean it by vacuuming it and then giving me a small tool that he created, to make removing the filter easier. It gets easier to remove the more you do it, which I will now do regularly, thanks to Bob!
Bob Frye is the kindest, nicest person I have ever met and I hope his store remains open and active forever. He and his store are a treasure!

Took my machine there to be fixed. They fixed the machine but left a ton of grease on it. I took it back to be cleaned and they said they cleaned the grease off but there’s still a ton of grease on my machine. While the machine is fixed I don’t feel it was worth it because my quilt has been ruined by the grease they said was cleaned off

Great service and shop for sewing supplies and vacuum repairs. I'm so glad to able to extend the life of my machines and support a unique local business! Vacuum runs like new again. If I ever need to buy a new vacuum I'll be going here too.

Dropped off my mother-in-law's Riccar vacuum cleaner at Altoona location. When it was fixed I mentioned I was going to be in State College the next day. Robert, the technician, was going to be in State College that day and so he brought it to their store there.Great service and brought a quality vacuum cleaner back to life at a reasonable price.
