I have been a customer of Chemung Canal since I was a teenager. My sister was an employee at the Troy branch and I always had great experiences with management and with tellers like Darby Machmer.Today I called in and spoke with an employee that was identified as Alissa Bieber. I asked to speak with another employee because Ms. Bieber was not listening to my needs. Ms. Bieber responded, "I asked everyone here and that is what we agreed was the solution."Again, I explained I wanted to speak to someone else because she was not comprehending my needs: I needed a basic ACH form completed for my savings account so that I could be paid via direct deposit. I said to Ms. Bieber that I did not understand why she was being so passive aggressive towards me and Ms. Bieber responded, "I can say the same thing." I then demanded to speak to someone else. Once I spoke to another employee, I was able to have my request completed because the other employee listened to me.I work in car sales in the Pittsburgh area and have helped Chemung Canal customers with vehicle loans from more than 5 hours away from your nearest branch and do not appreciate being spoken to in this way. Please train this employee correctly.I am going to give 3 stars based on past positive experiences, however.
