5 star K9 training, Asa gives one on one training, and is very experienced and trustworthy. The facility is beautiful, safe and very clean. Our dog received the top notch training here at Anderson's K9. We highly recommend it.

Asa Anderson is the best. My German shepherd loves him and my dog is not a fan of most people.

Best decision I made was sending my 4 month old pup to the 2 week board and training. He went there as a crazy puppy and 2 weeks later came back as a totally different pup, no biting, no jumping etc. Thank you Asa and staff !

ASA IS NOW A DEAR FRIEND. This was the best experience I have had in any service capacity. They are kind, knowledgeable and without ego. Best decision. I am former special forces and I will go further than recommending. I would say that this is the standard.
Thank you to the Andersons and their staff. I love you guys

Almost one year past with our girl Savanna, she's been amazing listening to our commands. Our issue was discipline she was selective when she'd want to listen , now she listens to all our commands, doesn't bark at random dogs/trucks, doesn't harass us when eating. She's all around a great dog . Thank you for all the amazing work!

Asa has done a tremendous job with our baby presa, Ghost. He has done two board and trains with Asa and both times comes back home to us with outstanding differences. The training and instruction on what to do at home to uphold the level is crystal clear and spot on for the age of the dog and breed. Asa is so caring and his passion clearly shows. I do not trust anyone else with my dog. Highly recommend!!!!

My dog died under Anderson's care two years ago. I had only put him in board and train for a week and received a call that he had died. I should not have put him in the program because few weeks before, they had a case of kennel cough that they were trying to rectify. I still listen to the voicemail to this day. They offered no explanation how he died and I did not have the heart to have his body cut open for an autopsy and see his body ripped open. He did not even offer to refund the board and train fee. I had to call few months after I had grieved to call to get the fee refunded to help pay for the cost of his urn.

We've been looking for a boarding and training program for our pittie pup Shell for some time, and I'm extremely grateful we found Anderson K9 training. The whole experience from the first call and a detailed slideshow on what the training program entails till the exit lesson has been great. Shell's been pulling a lot when walking and has had issues with recall. It's truly impressive what a change two weeks with Asa have made. Now walking with Shell in the neighborhood, park, or even in the store is a breeze. And if you're worried about your dog's well-being while there - don't. We've been getting pictures/videos/message updates consistently and Shell came back the same happy dog as when we dropped her off. They also took care of Shell's medications and special diet. It's safe to say Shell's gotten great care and training while there, and we'd 100% recommend Anderson K9!

Asa was an amazing trainer and an overall amazing human! We contacted him to help with our pit bull mix, Hank, who had some anxiety and territorial issues. We had contacted other trainers in the area, who had suggested putting him on anxiety meds, and that’s not something we felt comfortable doing. We also had a new baby coming and we wanted to make sure Hank would adjust and adapt well to the changes. Asa was able to teach us techniques and exercises to use that really resonated with Hank. A few months later, and I can’t believe he is the same dog! He is not only more relaxed and behaved, but is adjusting to his new human brother addition to the “pack”. If we could give Asa 10 stars, we would. Thank you again!!

I have no words for how thankful I am for Asa and his team! I sent my dog Hopper to the 2 week board and train program for many issues. I got him as a 3 year old rescue and he was anxious, moody, fearful and impossible to take on walks or anywhere outside of the house. He would pull me to the ground and was super reactive if he saw another dog. He’s been back for a week now and the results are INSANE! he walks perfectly now, he listens to me, and most importantly he seems much calmer and more confident. He seems to be getting better everyday! THANK YOU!!!

With Anderson K9 Training, you can teach an old dog new tricks! My husband & I brought our two 8 year old German Shepherds, Bear & Bull, to Anderson K9 Training to work on their aggressive behaviors towards other dogs. Due to a recent cohabitating living situation with friends & their dog, modifying this behavior became a priority. We were nervous with their older age they would be unwilling to change but Asa provided us the tools & knowledge that transformed this aggressive behavior in both dogs. Asa is a world class k9 trainer that we highly recommended for basic training to aggressive behavior modifications. For the first time in 8 years I can have stress free enjoyable walks with both dogs, and for that, I am very thankful.

Asa is one of those rare individuals who is truly comfortable inside his own skin. His ability to communicate his years of experience in an intelligent and straightforward manner, puts him in a very small group of among the best instructors I’ve ever seen. During my first visit two very large German shepherds are brought in by another federal officer, they were extremely excited, but Asa made it look easy. His ability to translate, his experience to us inspires confidence in our ability to train a dog following his instruction.

My experience with Anderson K9 Training was phenomenal!!I have a 4 year old-120 pound Rottweiler who has always been a gentle giant and an amazing dog since we got him as a puppy. Some annoying behaviors my dog would do is he would pull/bark at other dogs during walks and he would get super excited when guests would come over (occasionally jumping on them). My main concern was my wife and I recently brought a new born baby home and the Rottweiler became extremely stressed and anxious. He was super curious about the baby and would not stop panting, whining, and barking. My wife and I were always on edge monitoring the dogs behavior making sure he was staying away from the baby. I even slept in a different room with the dog as we did not feel comfortable with the dog sleeping in the same room with us and the baby.I searched the web and contacted some local trainers. The trainers I spoke to weren’t really what I was looking for. One trainer suggested anxiety medication which seemed like a temporary fix and did not seem right to me.I came across Anderson K9 Training and read Asa’s experience as a former State Trooper working in the K9 Unit. I immediately signed up for training and I can now say I feel comfortable with my dog around my newborn. (Attached is a pic of how he now knows to respect the babies boundaries). He also no longer barks at other dogs during walks and no longer jumps on guests!Asa also provided me with teaching techniques where I could continue reinforcing the training at home.Asa thank you again and keep being amazing!

Asa is an amazing trainer! He is so kind and so patient. We brought our dog to him for behavior modification training/board and train after he had lunged at a few people and bit someone. It has been 3 months since we picked our dog up and he is still responding well to the training. At drop off we were so nervous because our dog is a rescue and we didn’t want him to feel abandoned, Asa reassured us and talked through any concerns. He gave us updates often on Duke’s progress. Upon pick up, he was just as kind and just as patient training us on how to continue the training at home. He let us know that Duke would test us when we got home and he was absolutely right. Although he was testing us, we felt confident in what Asa had taught us and Duke. When we picked my dog up and I was 9 months pregnant and due 5 days after, I went into labor that day, so def bonus points there haha!If your dog needs any type of behavior modification training, this is your place to go!
