I recently stopped in here for the opening of a new exhibit and was surprised at how affordable the prices were. I ended up purchasing a small piece, my first original art purchase ever and another as a gift. They are very welcoming and approachable.

This is a shady organization. Every year, the Parliament puts on a show called Decked Out and every year in the past it has benefited the local skatepark to maintain safe grounds for the kids. Without notifying anyone they changed it to benefit themselves instead. Shady and greedy. They don’t deserve your support.

The Parliament is such a great organization in York. I am so thankful for such a thoughtful arts organization and all the great events they do. Kudos to Colin Holder for the great work.

Shady organization. For the last several years, the parliament has put on an event called Decked Out. This event was originally meant to raise funds for the local skatepark upkeep. Half of the sales have gone to the park since the event started. Without notifying anyone, they changed the event to benefit themselves. This was not mentioned to anyone until today, the day after the auction has ended. The entry fee also went up $5 this year, all to their benefit. Pure greed.
