i spoke to some rude woman who was very unhelpful! she didn’t tell me her name and gave me a terrible attitude. i explained to her what the name of the couch was that i was interested in and she told me to just come in the store. okay, no problem , the problem came when i was trying to get information about that specific couch or another possible gray leather couch and she hung up in my face when i agreed to come in. idk who this was but she was so rude and obviously doesn’t need to be in customer service.

I always find what I need & the Staff is very helpful. The prices are great & the store is always clean.

Open large store, clearly marked merchandise. Friendly folks. In food had some healthy products.

Last Straw... This store is not very friendly, efficient or proficient. Pete (loud mouthed manager who likes to hear himself talk, even other co-workers say the same about him- which is disgraceful) he wouldn't honor a sale that was posted on wicker outdoor furniture on (2) last seasons items that had the name wicker on its tags and also how it was rung up. Customer service kept me on hold for over 35 minutes, got disconnected, called back on hold for another 20 minutes they said they would call back- they never did. Also did an online order for two items that were supposed to be available, my Amex card was charged.. I got a confirmation email about the items, went to go pick them up and they said it was canceled because they never had the items in stock. But I never got a cancellation email. They also never have time to look for what you need. They tell u to order online & hang up on you. You can't beat some of their prices but they need to learn to be more friendly & professional if they are going to be in customer service.I miss the older blonde/grayed hair lady, cashier- she was friendly & the most helpful along with the tall older male manager. The North Charleston store on Rivers Ave is better if you need any assistance & don't want to be disrespected.

Big selection of products. I found one product, a jar of mayonnaise that date was ripped off for expired date. That surprised me.

Great sale the day I went. Found a lot of great deals. Even picked up a few Christmas gifts. Cashier was very friendly.

After having an encounter with this Big Lots manager Pete, I would not suggest anyone purchase anything from this or any other location. From the very beginning of the conversation he was rude, combative, and dismissive. He told us that there was no way for him to look up a receipt, and didn’t even make an attempt to resolve the situation. We asked if there was another manager, and he said he was the only manager there. I told him that he was very rude, and that as a manager instead of arguing with customers he should come up with a solution to the problem. I told Pete that I will be speaking to corporate about his unprofessional behavior. I stepped outside and called another location, and the woman was very helpful with coming up with a solution. When I walked backed into the store, other associates were resolving the problem. If Pete is what you consider management material, I would consider your company to go back to the drawing board and find someone more qualified and professional that can actually perform the duties of a manager because Pete is not it.

Great location close to the highway however it is not close to the interstate access area. There are many different types of stores and businesses located in and around the area.

Love this place and there selection. After the remodel it is even better than ever. Friendly staff and great low prices. Financing on good furniture. So all around one stop shop.

Y'all, Big Lots is where it's at for all your needs. Snacks, storage solutions, toothpaste, holiday decor, furniture, and everything in between. I honestly think I'd never shop anywhere else if they somehow sold rotisserie chickens. If you can't find it somewhere else, check here!

Big Lots has really changed into a high quality furniture store. The furniture is now Broyhill. Broyhill has ABSOLUTELY beautiful, comfortable furniture. My wife and I bought several items for our house. I wish we bought our couches and chair from them.The staff is helpful with a great attitude. Big Lots has lots of yard decorations as well.Big Lots is my go to store for furniture, yard decorations and my wife loves the Huge bags of Gummies.I Recommend Big Lots for Broyhill Furniture, a full store of items, (no empty shelves) and Great Customer Service.
