BEWARE: New hours 8am-4pm Monday-Sunday, don't waste your time or gas trying to go in the evenings. The new layout is nice, stock has been good, but it's all a bit pointless if you can't swing by after work.

I like shopping to Dollar General it's a great place to shop just sometimes the one on Savannah Highway it closes way before time and it has been for a long time so I have to go all the way over on 61 in order to go to the Dollar General sometimes that's the only thing I hate about it

Dollar General on Camp Road on James Island is one of my favorite places to go for basic items all in one place. This location is very convenient when you are in the area and need to get some items on your list for a good value. I have had a really good experience every time I have shopped here and the workers here are very nice and helpful.

Allow to be very clear about this place. The shelves are always empty. The store is dirty. The customer service sucks. The back room has more stuff then the shelves. The price tags on the shelves do not match the products. This place need a revamping.

Love the cashiers at this store! They are so kind and helpful. I was looking for a specific item and I was brought to the location in the store and had great customer service! I need to bring these hard working people some homemade cookies!
