The closest pet store is a great experience on the past two visits. The friendly staff made a return and a purchase without fuss. Love the dog crate resize policy!

What an amazing staff. I fainted in this store and two employees fanned me down by hand, got me water, a chair and crackers and made me feel so much better. Compassion and care at its core, and I imagine the same goes for our furry friends if this is how they treat the humans!! I will only be shopping at this store from now on. Thank you so much!

In line too long and ended up putting what I was going to buy back on the shelf, and then left. One register open, and the cashier was super friendly and nice, but he was taking a long time to close transactions, seemed unaware the line was backed up so far, greeting arriving customers and chatting it up with them, etc... Not trying to be picky and we like shopping there, we just didn't have time to wait that long today.

Great service with the staff on point with my needs. I learned tap worm pills are a thing of high theft and got a bag of dry cat food on clearance at half price. It was a great visit. Always go to the back left side and look for cat deals. ? weow!

I really like going to PetSmart! They have a wide variety of everything you need for your pet, from food to clothing toys, medications you name it they probably have it. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. And the best part is bringing your pet inside with you.... From dogs to goats they are always welcome ?

Thank you to Donna in grooming! She was able to finish my same day, walk in service quickly and thoroughly explained all my options. We went with the “paw-dicure” package. She also informed me on which combs/brushes are best for my dog’s coat. Very friendly!

I always use Pet Smart for all my grooming needs and have never had an issue. Except this location.The last time I visited for a grooming appointment all I wanted was a bath, nothing special. I had just had my dog groomed at another location 3 weeks before but my dog had taken a run through a pond the morning before and just needed a quick bath to smell better. This is what I told the groomer upon dropping him off.When I went to pick him up, it looked like the groomer had taken it upon themselves to shave away huge chunks of my dogs tail, saying that was their attempt at “de matting” it.My dog has always had a huge fluffy tail, every groomer I’ve ever been to has always done normal brushing to it, and told me it should never be cut. My previous groomers have also told me he doesn’t have matting, but at the base of his fur it could appear this way bc it is very thick due to his husky undercoating. But again, to never attempt to shave or cut it. You can damage the undercoating of your husky’s fur forever. If you have a husky you know, they are not supposed to ever be shaved.I was also charged $30 extra for the few minutes it took the groomer to butcher his tail and never even called me for permission to do any of this.I can understand someone being misinformed and doing something they think is helpful, but wouldn’t you at least think to check in with the owner first? Or stick to what was asked for and merely give your misunderstood suggestions upon pick up?Seems unprofessional to me, and I won’t be returning to this location

I popped in for dog and cat toys and treats for my friend's furry children. I was greeted at the door, then asked if I needed help, pointed to the right direction, and checked out with pleasantries and a smile. What great customer service!

I love PetSmart! They test water for aquariums for free so that’s nice. I get all my fish from here and they survive pretty well.

The groomer Charo who groomed my dog Elliott was amazing thanks he looks awesome, she did a great groom on him, will definitely be back!!!!!!!!!

Although I had an appointment to get my dog groomed, I was informed that they would be closing early and would not be able to groom my dog. To rectify this situation, the salon manager decided to yell at me and tell me that she can't keep the salon open and didn't care that I already had an appointment set up. So, if you like businesses that will close early on you and not honor your appointments, this is the place for you! But they will probably disappoint you, yell at you, and say how it's your problem, not theirs. How unprofessional. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Today I took my dog to get groomed as normal she is a 7 lb Maltipoo. Other groomers in the area are now booked out 6 Plus months I asked what to do and they said I should ask for a private groomer or have someone come to my home to cut her as she's too difficult. Never ever have I heard these words in 5 years. The only place she has ever been groomed has been PetSmart granted she has been to North Charleston to Mount Pleasant depending on my work schedule. Today I was told to come pick her up she was too aggressive and wigglyto be groomed. She said per companys new policy they are no longer allowed to use the pet helper to keep dogs still while grooming or use an assistant. She said this is a new company policy that only started 2 weeks ago. At this point I fe they lied. I asked for a copy of the new policy she said she did not have one this is the manager. This is the only place my dog has ever been groomed and never gotten a letter or note that she's been difficult to groom. She says my dog is not the only one that has been turned away although I think they just didn't feel like grooming her today very disappointed never had a problem with PetSmart. However I will be calling corporate my dog is as gentle as can be and Has never shown any signs of aggressiveness at all other dogs in the past I have owned not this one. She is as gentle as a can be. They cut her nails which is the hardest part called me to come get her. They suggested I use a Mobile Groomer or a private groomer that would be able to deal with my dog at home. They said it's above their pay grade at their level of what they are allowed to do without getting in trouble. My 7 lb dog will be a threat to their groomers of hurting them or hurting her I call BS. I also feel very sorry for the white poodle that was being groomed in there while I was in there as she's been shaved way past her skin and looks terrible I'm sure her owner won't be very happy. Beware if you have future upcoming appointments I have never had a problem. I will be calling corporate. I will also be sharing to everyone I know bad business.
