I ordered stamps before christmas but did not receive them. Finally I called after several attempts to chat online and nobody was available. A replacement was eventually sent and arrived but too late for my Christmas mail. I was not informed that I had to electronically sign before even receiving the replacement stamps. Then the first stamp order was delivered to one of my neighbors who had received it in her mailbox but not looked at her mail for some time. In February I received a letter from USPS asking me if I had received both stamp shipments I should pay for both or return the stamps. I returned the extra stamps. Now the app saysThat stamps were delivered to my mailbox I did not order, and I did not receive them either ........

not sure what y'all are trippin about, the postal service is a dying industry and the ladies at the desk were more than friendly and helpful. if YOU go in prepared then you shouldn’t have an issue, starting to think the 1 star reviews is just skill issue on the customers part.

Employees are always rude and unhelpful. My packages are constantly either lost, misdelivered, or they’ll just refuse to attempt delivery. FedEx and UPS have no issues delivering so I’ve stopped ordering from places that only use USPS.

Probably the worst US Post Office in America.Always a huge line/wait. 90% of the employees are rude and condescending.They (USPS) could be smarter, and lease one of the adjacent spaces for a functional Post Office instead of using a small space in the distribution center, which is the real problem here.It's no wonder the employees are frustrated. They have been placed in a no-win situation there.

5 stars for Michael (I think that's his name), 3 stars for facility overall. I'm very patient, so I have no issue waiting and I understand when you only have two post offices in West Ashley, that wait times will be high, especially with only a handful of reps. Post-thanksgiving wait was pretty significant (expected) and the stock of boxes was low. I was misdirected by one rep as to what box I should use for my deployed partner, but it was fixed by Michael who has helped me out both times for my complicated and time consuming sendout. Michael is former military and I thank him for his service both military wise and in the local post-office. Without you, I would be lost!

This location is always horrible. I used to live in a busy city so I am very patient and I know workers do their best to manage wait times. That’s not the problem here. In the past year I have had to visit this location upwards of 20 times because of different issues. It could be missed delivery, packages saying they’re “available for pickup” when the clerks do not want to go get them or the mail carriers leaving “missed you at home” slips when they are too lazy to approach the door and get a signature. I would say 1 in every 7 of my packages have some kind of issue that requires me to go to this location to solve it. Almost every time I go in something is wrong and I have an issue. Staff can be very friendly and helpful some days or extremely rude and angering other days. Today I went in and was pushed over the edge by a large man with glasses at the counter who was angry with me because I asked to pick up my package that said it was ready to be picked up. He said they didn’t have it without looking even though my tracking said otherwise. He had such an awful attitude that I just gave up and left.

Danielle and Courtney are the nicest post office ladies I have ever encountered! Please don’t pay attention to the bad reviews. if you live in large city you have to wait wherever you go. I’m glad they work there. Five stars!

I’m impressed at how rude the people working here are. I thought working with customers required using basic customer service skills, but apparently not the case here. Wow!

I normally get treated well at this location! This location is way better then the other one St. Andrews!But today the clerk thought that she doesn’t wanna work longer then 5 so she closed the door early.She was the only one and had a big line. And when I approached the door she yelled at me that she is closed. I said that it’s not 5 yet. But she pointed at a clock and said yes it is!!!! The clock even showed that it wasn’t 5!This is st Andrees behavior ! Total no Go!

I went into the Ashley River Road office on Thursday 5/12/23 to mail a Mother's Day card. Paid the the customer service representative .89 cents for a stamp to put on the mail. The representative was an African American female, wore glasses and mask. She said the mail would get to Mount Pleasant the next day. I noticed she held on to the mail as I walked away. Now, this is the second time she did this. The first time when I noticed, I told her to give the mail back to me. Therefore, I ended up putting the mail in the slot outside the office.On 5/13/23, I called my mom to see if she had gotten the mail. She said no. I called her today 5/15/23 to see if she had gotten the mail, she said no. So, the customer service representative kept my mail for herself. She knew it was something in it. I am very angry and dissatify with this location. I believe she stole the mail because it had not been delivered.

This location is the bottom of the barrel not sure if they have problems with workers comming to work but line is always very long and usually one register working the ladys at the desk majority have very smart mouths and try to make you feel unintelligent at the desk because you ask a question its rediculas they get away with what they do my boss would fire me if I was that slow and acted like it didn't want to be their th way they do . I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone they do nothing to make the process faster

The carrier that does 1000West route needs to actually lock the bottom mailboxes after putting packages in them. He left 2 wide open not even locked and the key in my box and the other in door of the other box.

This one is always busy, and usually with only 1 clerk working. Prepare to wait. They are also always out of packaging, always.
