The people who work here are super nice, but the selection is horrible and extremely limited. Ordering online is even worse. I ordered a baby monitor, and it never even shipped. I was told 4 times that it would be delivered Saturday, and it never shipped. What kind of customer service is that?! Also, it would help to be able to understand the people to whom you’re speaking.

I had two orders cancelled for no reason. 6 calls to customer service. 6 different answers. Each time I was promised a call back that day. 7 days later no call. I was ordering a $1,000 stroller. I thought they might make an effort to hang onto a $1,000 sale. They charged my Amex twice but then I received an email they had cancelled my order twice and then I verified my card was charged TWICE w/ Amex. A week later I have no answer as to how/when to get my $2,000 back. I have since ordered the stroller from Bloomingdales. Very professional and I am receiving a $175.00 gift card for the purchase. Stay away from Buy buy baby too many awful reviews. Something is very off here..pursuing my credit with Amex. PS customer service is a nonexistent with this company.

We found out about buy buy baby when I was pregnant with my 3rd! Love this place and all their products! They are always offering coupons and have a great in store clearance section!

DO NOT ORDER NURSEY FURNITURE FROM THIS STORE! I ordered my nursery set in store and was told everything should arrive mid/late Feb. Everything arrived on time except the crib. When my husband went to pick up the items that have arrived he was first told they didn’t have the items.. after him waiting around for an hour they finally found the items that were there! After calling several times and stopping by the store, we were never given a answer on when the crib would arrive. Now since it was March the lady Tamika(?) finally told us if it were shipped straight from the manufacturer it would take 21 days. After calling customer service, they said they could ship one in two weeks but they were unable to track my order, since I made a in store purchase I would have to go through the store to have my order track. I really think the crib never got ordered and the lady was just giving us the run around. She finally did locate one in NC so we drove 3 1/2 hrs out of our way just to be done with everything! I will never step foot in this store again! It is very poorly ran!

If you're thinking of shopping at Buy Buy Baby, especially this location, don't. The railing we ordered for almost $200 (as an accessory to an $900 crib we bought 2 years prior) May 25th to be shipped to our house were delivered to the store on June 18th. No call, no delivery. We were told they called an left a voicemail, which they did not. My husband owns his own company, he answers every call, whether on a ladder, etc. They get answered because it's how he makes his living. We were in the store for 2 hours when we ordered them and they still managed to screw it up. Even if they called, which they didn't, I would think it would be responsible for them call again given it is now July 18th and the railings were still sitting in their store. We had to drive from Charleston to Columbia to figure out what was going on. Thankfully family live here so it wasn't a completely wasted trip, but the purpose was to get our railings. All the manager would say was that they left a voicemail (they didn't) and that he was sorry for the trouble. Mind you, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SHIPPED. I called to ask them what they could for our trouble, given the amount of money we spend there and their inability to process the order correctly. After an hour of dealing with another manager all they offered us was 15% = about $25 and continued to argue that they called ( which they didn't) and that it wasn't a wasted trip because we are seeing family. A call shouldn't have been necessary anyways since IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SHIPPED She was unhelpful and rude and took up an hour of our time by refuted full responsibility. Continued to say "if she knew we were coming" again not acknowledging that IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE SHIPPED. I declined her $25 and said I would take it up with corporate. After calling corporate on hold for almost 30 minutes with no human interaction at all, I hung up. This store is entirely too expensive to have this level of customer service. I will be calling them again to ensure we get our refund, but dealing with this company for almost 3 hours now is unacceptable. We will not be back.

Absolutely LOVED this place. We drove there today from Myrtle Beach just to visit it and try out some baby things for our new little one arriving in June. They have absoutely EVERYTHING! From trying out strollers to looking at cribs we were amazed. When you go in ask for Tamikea she is AMAZING! She helped us pick out our stroller, crib, mattress and countless others. She knows her stuff forwards and backwards and couldn't be more upfront and honest about everything. She goes out of her way to make sure you understand and definitely helps put a new family with a little one on the way at ease. We are so thankful we were lucky enough to walk around the store with her and pick out everything. I highly recommend this place if you're a new mom or dad looking for new baby supplies. We ended up buying the 2nd heaviest crib in the store and they brought out 4 people to help load it in the truck. If that's not great customer service I don't know what is! Loved it! We will be back!

My husband and I came in today from California to purchase our grand daughter birthday gifts ! From the moment we walked in we received great service ! We were immediately greeted by keyha with a welcoming smile ! I seen a outfit By the front of the store which I loved and you didn't have our grandchild size and keyha offered to order it for us ! Later on during our visit I let a associate know that the water in the restroom wouldn't turn off and he immediately addressed the issue ! Every associate we encountered offered to help us ! When we Checked out keyha again gave us excellent guest service and I highly recommend this store ! I also wish to add that I truly wish all stores gave this great of service -

I purchased a baby gate on Nov 12th 2019. The gate wasn't safe for my child so we went to return / exchange it for a different one on Nov 18th 2019. I was told that because it had hair on it that they couldn't resell it and wouldn't do any return or exchange or even offer a store credit (no I didn't have the receipt and they didn't offer to look it up either) I was told all they can do is call the manufacturer and see if they would do anything for me. After 30 min the manufacturer sent a new gate of equal value that fit what I need with no questions asked so A+ to Summer Infant for their awesome customer service. Buybuybaby on the otherhand recieves an F and I will never shop their again. It makes me wonder how many returned items I've purchased from them since obviously it's their policy to put returns back on the shelf.....

The workers here are so rude and have the worst attitudes ever! The store manager Vivica is very rude she'll see customers enter and say nothing. This experience makes us not want to shop here anymore but this is one of the only baby stores in Columbia unfortunately they should of left Babies R Us open. I'm becoming a mother for the first time and the nonchalant rude attitudes are not appreciated or appropriate when working with customers. If I could I wouldn't give them any rating at all. And once upon a child is a great place to rack up on baby clothes mommies FYI but customer service here needs to tighten up.
