It was my first time here the first floor was closed but the second floor is pretty big. The art is beautiful and some have powerful statements with them, The price is $13 for adults which I payed $26 because there were two of us. I would recommend visiting if you like art!

My gosh this place is wonderful! They have paintings rivaling big city museums. Around every corner was something stunning. This place is worth the drive too. I left feeling I just enriched my life 10-fold.

Currently the first floor exhibits are closed. So only second floor and black history is open. It was nice to look around. Not super big. It took about 30 minutes to look around. Staffs were very kind!

An absolutely beautiful museum!! A must see if you love art, they are spaced out perfectly with info right next to it to know the age of the artist, of the art itself and some history to make you think about the art from the time period. There’s paintings, sculptures, pottery and even current fashion from a top designer to bring it all together to truly make it worthwhile. I took 2.5 hours walking around and had my husband in awe when I showed him the photos! Highly recommend stopping in if you come to Columbia!

We just went for the Alexander McQueen exhibit Thursday. It was really interesting and well done. His designs are all fantastic. It is a great tribute to his life and work. We never miss a chance to visit the museum. It is always impressive. My kids attend a lot of Saturday classes and camps here and always come away thrilled. The first Thursdays of the month are free and they stay open until 8.

Went for the last 50th Hip-Hop anniversary event with FatRat Da Czar aka Master Splnta. I had a chance to watch him, Quell and SaintPat perform live. It was amazing and was full of positive energy. I also had to go inside a few times and forgot how beautiful it was. As a result, I will definitely be going back just to visit the museum with my wife. True Hip-Hop brings people together.

Outstanding art collection carefully curated to indicate themes across pieces of art which otherwise appear completely unrelated. We wandered through the rooms, moving from one to another, walking around a corner to a new surprise or finding. Our teens were intrigued and debated the value of one piece of art vs. another... mission accomplished! And thanks to the great front desk and docents, who welcomed and helped us get started.
